@MerrynSW @K_Niemietz He knows (LSE alumni) he is just lying. Pretty normal thing for these lunatics
English

Extraordinary thing here is only partly his total confusion about how income tax and IHT work plus utter ignorance of the trust system. Main bit that threw me is that he doesn't know how NI works. And thinks he has paid way more tax than he has. How does this happen?

Gary doesn't even understand the basics of taxation, like income tax vs inheritance tax or corporate tax vs consumption tax.

@20th_Centurygal Hard to choose but it’s a Tool song. 10000 Days (Wings Pt 2) for instance. It’s not a sudden change, more like a “crescendo” created by Danny Carey.

@Iberdrola_En @Masdar Well, people who built windmills or sailing boats hundreds or thousands of years ago have already have thought it
English

🧠 Mental note: if they tell you it’s impossible, they’re talking about their limitations, not yours.
Who would have thought it 125 years ago: energy generated by the wind, from the sea, and global leaders in wind power.

More of this please. Awesome all the way through.

@helderlib @DanBurmawy @andrewbostom That’s bullshit. The British actually helped shit many Palestinians out of the country during the mass expulsion. Many of the military bases and infrastructure supporting it were handed directly to the Jewish leadership.

We grew up in the Arab world believing that Israel is a small, fragile country that could be wiped off the map in a few hours, and that the only thing stopping that was the U.S.
Today, the jihadists who want to destroy Israel, not because of something Israel did, but because of who Israel is, are using the useful idiots and the woke reich to try to sever the link between the U.S. and Israel.
They do this by framing Israel’s self-defense and the U.S. war on Islamic terrorism as the cause of terrorism, rather than recognizing it as a response.
What the useful idiots and the woke reich don’t understand is that by mainstreaming this view, they are handing Islamic jihad the greatest gift it could ask for: isolating Israel and making it an easier target, while legitimizing the infiltration of the West by labeling any resistance to it as “Zionist Islamophobia.”
Let me be clear: what you believe about the nature of the Arab-Israeli conflict will determine the future of the West.

@DPJHodges @CopyOfOne I guess not, it probably is to shoot them imediatley. That would be wise

"If police officers think someone might be carrying explosives, protocol is to kick them in the head repeatedly like this?". Hopefully.
Owen Jones@owenjonesjourno
Hold on - what? If police officers think someone might be carrying explosives, protocol is to kick them in the head repeatedly like this? Is that actual police protocol? If so, how is it a wise police protocol? Can someone explain the reasoning?
