"My biggest fear while there [in Gaza] was being killed by the Israelis" - Professor Nizam Memode recounting his recent period in Gaza working in one of the hospitals.
He describes the multiple and deliberate targeting of UN convoys by Israeli soldiers.
This is horrifying.

"It's the equivalent of just putting a blockade around London, saying you can't leave, & then dropping bombs month after month, & then closing down all the healthcare facilities, that's what's happening"

Do you think the proposed NHS league table (ranking how well NHS trusts are performing from best to worst) is a good idea?
Please explain your answer in the comments.
Please repost to increase the sample size too.
@dave43law Good grief! Can we stop the nonsense of league tables? It doesn't matter how good the managers are when nurses don't have access to basic stuff like sheets or monitoring equipment. The NHS needs collaboration not competition.

Never has this been truer. Labour needs to step up, wake up, show up, and get us back on the path to EU membership, in whatever form can be agreed. Blair was right then and is right now. Come on, sort yourselves out. Your economic growth doesn’t exist.
