I never understood the edge of fate hatred. Until I sat down today to get my guardian rank up. This. God forsaken challenge. Making me only use “featured” weapons. And the featured weapons aren’t at all in tune with my warlock build. So I’m screwed unless I rebuild.

My #1 request for the final update of destiny is to put the artifact mods on an automated rotation that cycles through all old artifacts.
Doing this would naturally refresh the meta and keep the game feeling a little more alive for those who decide to stick around a while.

I'm really sad events won't be made automatic tbh. Despite all the damage it did I think the year of EoF made events very fun (outside of The Dawning, which it kinda stabbed in the foot, but we can forgive that)

@WelshDragon9971 Not necessarily Bungie but by people that love it, above everything destiny has been run into the ground by people that only saw it as a cash cow holding back people that love the game like us from doing the things we/they want to see in the game.

Destiny not being run by Bungie isn’t Destiny, period. Even if another studio announced D3 tomorrow, I wouldn’t give 2 flying fucks about it.

Cayde's final message to us feels like he is speaking on behalf of destiny.
It feels like whoever wrote those voice lines knew deep down that the end might be near. We didnt know it at the time but we were listening to the start of destiny saying goodbye. Breaks my heart.

I know it’s probably impossible, but in the wake of imminent shutdown of Destiny support, if somehow I had a way to play the entirety of Destiny, from Vanilla 1 mission 1 to the end of Final Shape, I’d really enjoy that.

I totally understand how Datto felt.
When MHF (Monster Hunter Frontier) ended we all knew it was coming and we all felt the same. Sometimes you just got to move on and it sucks, love it or hate it but more live service game would end.
