🌍 Autism is a lifelong developmental condition that affects each person in a unique way. 👧🧑 Across Europe, around 7 million people are on the autism spectrum — yet many continue to face exclusion. 🧩 While autism is often called an “invisible disability”, challenges are considerable: barriers in education and employment, gaps in healthcare and support services, and ongoing stigma. 📣 Too often, autistic people are overlooked in decisions that affect their lives. Inclusion is crucial. On #WorldAutismAwarenessDay, we reaffirm our commitment to a Europe built on inclusion, respect, and equal opportunities for all. 💪 No one should be left behind. #AutismNotInvisible @AutismEurope

@AutismEurope Elizabeth is the director of Communication 4 ALL, a nonprofit that empowers families and schools to teach nonspeakers to type, free of charge. She had the privilege of being interviewed for the #AutismNotInvisible Campaign, at the @AutismEurope International Congress this fall.

Autisme-Europe Cette semaine, nous avons eu l’occasion de nous immerger dans le monde de Babouillec Sp, actrice et poétesse autiste non verbale, et découvre son talent. Nous avons été captivés par le travail de la troupe derrière la pièce « Ovni Rêveur », qui a créé un magnifique espace méditatif et offert une réflexion riche sur la liberté d’être soi-même. Ce travail résonne parfaitement avec notre campagne « Not Invisible » et notre projet SDIT Theatre, qui vise à rendre le secteur des arts du spectacle plus inclusif pour les personnes autistes.
