Seattle Public Utilities’ Low-Income Water Conservation Program is awesome! So often the economic benefits that result from sustainable decisions is not distributed equitably. It’s great to see these measures put in place where they’ll make a meaningful difference not just 1/2

@mattijs_holler interned at herbertbau.at and conducted research on #sustainableconstruction! Sounded like an awesome opportunity, I like the initiative by the company to look at their practices critically. #Localmaterialsourcing is awesome! #POEcap

Enjoying @CondrinMatt’s presentation on food insecurity and the promises of urban gleaning. I’ll be looking for ways I can spread awareness of #FoodInsecurity, donate food I would otherwise not use to a #foodbank and advocate for economic reform of our food systems!

Urban living can distance/blind us from ecological systems and natural cycles. Practicing and promoting #gleaning can help reconnect us while also reducing food waste and food insecurity! #POEcap
