Putting aside Zohran’s Antisemitism, including his calls to Globalize the Intifada to bring violence everywhere, he will devastate young progressives. The NYC Mayor and Council have ZERO authority to enact his proposals. He’ll achieve nothing and disillusion an entire generation.

Zohran Mamdani supporters, you’re wrong. His opponents are not right wing. Mainstream liberals like me — we who deplore Islamophobia, racism, sexism and anti-LGBTQ prejudice — oppose Zohran because his calls to “Globalize the Intifada” incite hatred and violence against Jews.

@mjr1900_rl Nope. Watch the video. He's just standing in the hallway when he is approached by supposed ICE agents who are not wearing official uniforms, covering their faces, and refusing to provide a warrant for his arrest. Even if this were a political stunt, what they did was wrong.

It surely didn't help that he was a couple of years younger than we were after skipping grades. He was studious & involved in clubs like the math team. After a stint at Johns Hopkins, he went to Brown & UC Berkeley, according to my HS classmates. 3/4
