What’s happened to manners and common courtesy in the U.K. I’m on a packed train @CrossCountryUK from Oxford to Coventry. Loads of young people on it with lots of elderly standing! I’ve given my seat to an older lady but why isn’t anyone else? Selfish gits!

@JuliaHB1 @coccinellanovem I’m severely visually impaired and my husband is not allowed to go into the booth with me to help me read the forms. This is a fairly recent change, but the staff have been adamant the last two times we voted that I had to go in on my own.

Question: why are the officials manning the polling stations in Gorton and Denton allowing TWO people to enter the same polling booth when doing that is a criminal offence?

@SandyofSuffolk I blame Gordon Brown for encouraging totally unsuitable girls with no education, earning capacity or skills to produce as many children as possible for the free house and extra benefits. Those kids are now mothers themselves so the cycle continues.

Going to school aged 5 in 1963 we were all toilet trained, could use cutlery, pens, knew the alphabet, could read Janet and John books, could tell the time, tie our shoelaces and ties, button up our coats and knew our own address. And between then and now somehow it all went wrong. But why?

@cm_bagot @marksandspencer I had the same experience. I’m 5’1 and a little rounder than I should be these clothes make me look like a barrel. Who selects these. They also seem to have chosen brown colours- my colouring does not suit brown. Wide brown trousers will mean I really am a barrel!

M&S have decided we must all wear very wide trousers. I want some straight legged trousers & have walked round a store full of wide trousers and jeans. also, ladies toilets a disgrace. only cafe was a decent experience. come on @marksandspencer up your game and cater for everyone

@ColinSpenc4257 Don’t need to buy anything in plastic. Refill, buy loose fruit and veg , ham can be wrapped in paper if you buy it freshly sliced. I could go on. Supermarkets have ruined good food.

@ClareRi62674837 I have seen mums picking up their kids from school dressed like that - what an example. Notice a strange fashion trend - coats that look like dressing gowns, joggers like PJs & shoes like sheepskin slippers. Seems slop chic is all the rage.

In Tesco and some woman in her (mid twenties) is shopping in her PJs, dressing gown and slippers. Unbelievable. I find it absolutely shocking tbh.
