Being the lowest heartbeat in the room is what every dad should shoot for. Yet, when we miss the mark, promptly saying sorry is key. You set a powerful example by owning your mess and showing your family how to navigate their imperfections by first navigating yours.

@limit___less No shame. I'm right there with you. For our family the issue is the t.v. becomes an easy babysitter when there are things that need to get done. What could we substitute for that? Speaking for myself— maybe we need to be more patient with our kids too

The key to being a great father is surrendering your expectations

‼️ Recognize the significance of Football Sundays, yet don't use them as an excuse to neglect your kids. That key play SHOULD NOT outweigh your son on your shoulders or your girl craving a story. Be there for your family, step up, and cherish those moments while you still can.

👉 I've found the best use for my echo dot. Sending reminders from my alexa app as love notes/inside jokes to my wife at home throughout the day.
