Please @TfL you have to sort out the metropolitan line from Amersham. Constantly cancelling trains with no notice so we only find out when we get to the station. It’s such an unreliable service.

Up until December, 2022 has been an awesome year for us in Rwanda.
Sadly I depart for UK on Monday to start treatment for breast cancer.
Right now I’m trying to focus on the next step and appreciate all the wonderful people around me - will keep you posted ❤️

A lovely get together last night with ex DFID colleagues I met in #Rwanda. Such a great bunch of talented, kind, professional and fun women! Lucky to have met them. They looked out for me in #Kigali and now we are one @FCDOGovUK ❤️

@gmhales Gavin, this is so beautifully expressed. I’ve been feeling a bit traumatised by it somehow being the 1 year anniversary and this was cathartic to read. And our little person still asks when we can go home too 😢

@gmhales No international travel, her husband tested positive so she was isolating as a contact.

@hethrs Was that following international travel rather than eg isolating because of close contact with someone with Covid in the UK?
