🛡️ IP Blocklist — Open-Source Malicious IP Blocklists for Firewalls and Network Security IP Blocklist is an open-source threat intelligence project that aggregates malicious IP reputation feeds from numerous trusted cybersecurity sources into continuously updated inbound and outbound blocklists for network defense. Updated every two hours, the project consolidates indicators associated with botnets, command-and-control (C2) infrastructure, malware distribution, phishing servers, brute-force attacks, spam operations, reconnaissance scanning, TOR exit nodes, abusive hosts, and other malicious infrastructure while automatically excluding major public DNS resolvers to reduce false positives. The project provides two primary feeds: an inbound blocklist designed to protect public-facing services by blocking known malicious source addresses attempting SSH, RDP, SMTP, web application, and network attacks, and an outbound blocklist intended to prevent compromised internal systems from communicating with malicious destinations such as C2 servers, malware download sites, botnet controllers, and phishing infrastructure. These plain-text feeds are compatible with modern firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, routers, proxies, security gateways, and network security platforms, making them suitable for server hardening, enterprise perimeter defense, SOC operations, threat hunting, incident response, home labs, and self-hosted security environments.
