I failed miserably. At 19 I created my first business. Did it while I was studying. I went door-to-door to sell smartphone accessories. I built my first brand, sourced products from China and Israel, and sold over 100+ products. With no margin, not enough cash to scale, and low self-resourcefulness, I lost focus. I had no vision. I wasn't consistent enough. But it sparked my interest in eCommerce. I then decided to apply to Amazon to learn from the best. Because I had a successful business, I got in. For the next 3 years, I learned about eCommerce, brands, marketing, sales, and products. Which led me to create my second business while working for Amazon. Long nights and weekends. It took a lot out of me. However, I built a bestselling brand in the jewelry category and achieved 7 figure revenue over 2.5 years. Life was better than ever. Successful business, a great job at Amazon. I had it all. But something was missing... I lost the passion and drive I had from the beginning. I decided to sell my part of the business. I reinvented myself and learned how the AWS Cloud worked. I supported large brands and executives in shaping their digital strategy. Led cross-functional teams, signed multi-million dollar deals, hired talent, and chased promotions. But after a senior-level promotion, again I felt empty. I felt dissatisfied. I asked myself: What is next? Another promotion, another deal, more money? To become what? I looked at the director of our department. I thought, if it goes well, this could be me in 5-10 years. Do I want that? My answer was no. It took me 1.5 years to leave... But I quit the guided tour. A tour that was not meant for me. Now, I am seeking for a new adventure. An adventure with meaning and purpose. I will listen to my heart and accept my ego. Money is not everything- Purpose is.
