Culver’s is overrated. Why do people think it’s the best?

@RandPaul The tweets are great, but our elected officials are garbage and nothing will change.

Fauci's agency sent your money to a lab in Wuhan. They did risky experiments. Then they buried the evidence. This is exactly why I keep fighting for transparency on overseas biolabs.

Micah Nori’s one-year contract with the Trail Blazers includes a sliding-scale salary based off incentives and team success next season, per @ShamsCharania. Truly historic levels of cheapness for a head coach being shown by new owner Tom Dundon.

@CMPiagentini Well, our top 2 candidates for Mayor of Louisville just think it is celebrating and cultural differences. This city is a joke.

I have a crazy idea on increasing safety around Bardstown Road and all over our city…more arrests and stiffer punishments for law breakers. We should stop making excuses for people who can’t act right and just punish them severely. courier-journal.com/story/News/loc…

I feel like I could score a couple goals a game if you put me as the striker on a great World Cup team. All they do is feed their best player endlessly.

If Trae Young went to the T-Wolves/Celtics/Heat instead of the Wizards, people would be calling him one of the best PG’s in the game But because it’s the wizards, he automatically sucks and it’s “not going to work”

@BFLouisville My take is that the elected officials of Louisville have failed their citizens. I use to live in the Highlands but after the police stopped policing I moved from Cherokee Triangle 2 years ago. Really sad for the city.

Here's what @DOGE found the USAID money was being spent on: • $4.8 million to Ukraine’s public affairs office in Kyiv to fund social media influencers. • $2.1 million to Paraguay to “enhance” their border security. • Ukrainian women-led designers to fly to the Paris Fashion Show. • $2 million on transgender surgeries, hormone therapy, and gender-affirming care in Guatemala. • $3 million to promote “girl-centric climate action” in Brazil. • $25,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia. • $32,000 in Peru for a comic book featuring a “Trans hero” to tackle social and mental health issues. • $20,000 for a DEI-promoting drag theater show in Ecuador. • $20 million for a new Sesame Street show in Iraq. • $6 million to boost “sustainable tourism” in Egypt—plus $50 million for Tunisia’s tourism. • $87.9 million to help Afghans “farm”—which just happened to include poppy fields. • $70,000 for a live musical event promoting Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in Ireland. • Over $54 million funneled to EcoHealth Alliance—the group linked to the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the likely origins of COVID. • $15 million to Taliban-controlled Afghanistan for oral contraceptives and condoms.

@keachhagey @MattBelloni Great episode and I have a question for you and @MattBelloni - if no studio picks it up will the public never be able to watch it? Could they release on @YouTube for a fee? I want to see this movie.

As a longtime Trae Young critic/skeptic, I just want to say that Young has gone from overrated to underrated. Did the Wizards overpay? Sure. But worst contract in the NBA? No way. Joel Embiid, De'Aaron Fox, and Christian Braun definitely have worse contracts. Trae is still an excellent passer and with some tweaks to his usage he could become a far more efficient scorer. Just need more shots off the catch and less wild jumpers off the dribble. It really is simple. Washington has AJ Dybantsa, Anthony Davis, Tre Johnson, Alex Sarr, and a whole bunch of talented young ball handlers, so I can't see any way how Trae dominates the ball nearly as much as he did in Atlanta. It's possible that at age 28 next season, we could even seen the best version ever of Trae.

@LouisvilleMayor You are trying to tell us that Atomic is causing the street takeovers and the continued ruin of Bardstown Rd? Okay, got it. Thanks. Are you going to pull burritos from the menu of Taco Bell down the street because of the fights in their parking lot? Garbage.

Mayor Craig Greenberg
Mayor Craig Greenberg@LouisvilleMayor·
When businesses don't follow the rules, we will take action. That's what we're doing once again this morning. Earlier today, Louisville Metro ABC issued an emergency shutdown order for Atomic, located at 1125 Bardstown Road. This follows fights, a shooting, and other incidents over the weekend. This order takes effect immediately and suspends the establishment's ABC licenses pending investigation. We want all of our businesses to thrive, and we want our entire community to enjoy vibrant entertainment areas like Bardstown Road. But we will not accept this behavior, and we will not accept establishments that threaten the safety of our public spaces and our community. Last weekend, our task force issued 39 citations, arrested 21 adults and 3 juveniles, and towed two vehicles. To date, the work of the Summer Task Force has resulted in 216 citations, 101 arrests, 18 juvenile citations, 12 juvenile arrests, 23 towed vehicles, and 49 parking tickets. We will continue taking action and consider every option at our disposal to keep the community safe. I'm grateful for the swift action of Louisville Metro ABC and for their ongoing work to improve safety in the area as part of the Summer Task Force. louisvilleky.gov/news/mayor-gre…
