LTV per Customer... a metric I've ignored since transitioning my apps from a one-time payment to a subscription model. What a mistake. I've exported various LTV metrics from @RevenueCat and had the ChatGPT Data Analyst examine them. Turns out, I tanked my retention rate by doubling the price in 2023 from $14.99 to $29.99. The Data Analyst suggests reverting to my original price, as it yielded the highest retention rate and realized LTV per customer over time. Pricing is tough, especially for annual subscriptions. You truly understand its impact only after 1-2 years.

I was finally able to migrate to Android 15 and support devices with 16KB page size. After rebuilding all impacted libraries, app finally works with latest jna version. New update for Paralino is almost out 🤞 #buildinpublic #androiddev

And finally, after exactly 5 (yes, five) months, Apple has approved one of the special entitlement for background location updates. It is crazy how long it takes, and I was surprised at first why they are not responding for few days 😅 #buildinpublic #iosdev

Just reached 100 ratings for Paralino on Google Play 🥳 If there weren't for some pesky bugs in worst possible time, that rating would have been higher, but well 😅 #buildinpublic

"A calculator app? Anyone could make that." Not true. A calculator should show you the result of the mathematical expression you entered. That's much, much harder than it sounds. What I'm about to tell you is the greatest calculator app development story ever told.

@Gaut7am_GR I doubt it can happen before Valentine’s 🙈. But also it may not be very sustainable as a product, I am not sure how to even present and price it fairly at the moment 🤷‍♂️. You may benefit from yearly plan maybe, those are still discounted

@TipsyTaterTot One of them is legitimate UI issue on smaller screens which I'll have to fix. But another one said: "we are unable to locate any features that require persistent location" - for location sharing app 😅. For that one I guess I'll have to appeal.

@SeaCatWiz Thank you! Whole website is built with Hugo. I paid for a source theme, but now I am just customising everything myself. Documentation is also different Hugo theme served at specific path.
