Correct. Taxation is theft which is why it is wrong to force through tax cut legislation embedded in a massive appropriations bill that leads to more spending and devaluation of the currency. $40T debt. The “tax cut” in a bill like that is the carrot to pass the pork. I support tax cuts and small government, just like Massie.

For clarity. Tax cuts are not “spending bills” the assumption that the money ever belonged to government is socialist ideology. Everyone and that means billionaires too are entitled to the fruits of their labor as well as risk derived income. Thomas Massie also doesn’t understand the literal meaning of a hedge or he wouldn’t have voted against the building of a wall. He may be an intellectual but he doesn’t belong in government.

And what they found out is that my seat is really expensive.” Those are his words, not mine — and he said them on the record, repeatedly, to anyone with a microphone. This is what Frank Zappa was pointing at when he called politics the entertainment division of the military-industrial complex. For a moment, I thought we’d broken through. Or perhaps Massie had to give up his seat in order to win something bigger.

He has even said releasing the files will cause harm to people important to him. He literally ran on releasing the files day one, and as soon as he got in did a 180, called it a hoax, said they didn’t exist and chastised everyone to move on. This was a number one issue for many voters. I’ll answer the question I asked…he fought Massie hard on releasing the files (his campaign promise) because he prioritizes monetary gain from foreign nations over the interests of the American people and the 500k trafficked children. Where are the prosecutions? They’ll never happen, it doesn’t align with his donors’ interests. If this is lost on you, we probably won’t find common ground. Keep drinking the koolaid lady.
