@GilbsMark @jonholwill About 35 minutes over 80 minute game but football only just beats it with 55-60 ball in play time over 90 minutes.

@jimhamilton4 How will it bring in more money for the game? It will be ITV who keep the revenue from the Ads to recoup what they paid to get the broadcast rights. Totally wrong & if it were done during an England football match there would be uproar, probably even from the Govt.

@thepaulwilliams 100 per cent agree. The sport is crying out for cash and we're lucky compared to other sports that our prime annual competition is still on terrestrial TV.

Ads 'in play' during the Six Nations are necessary. If you want big competitions on free to air TV. Can't have it all. Debates like this drive me insane.

@thepaulwilliams Rubbish, they don’t and wouldn’t put Ads during a football game. Do you think they will put Ads during the football World Cup games this summer? So why do it for a rugby international game?
