Lived with a family with a baby that would do blood curdling screams for hours and hours everyday, I know they were trying their best and there really weren't any answers. A year later and the kid is walking around just fine and happy, I think you're good. Doesn't mean incompetence in the slightest and if you're stressing over it it just means your head is in the right place. Good luck

Not me doing everything I can for my newborn and feeling helpless while she screams bloody murder from 3pm until midnight Totally inconsolable some days. I am working to find answers but I believe it’s caused by a long, traumatic birth I tried to do everything right and it’s not enough
vittorio@IterIntellectus

nothing enrages me more than hearing people say how my wife and I got “lucky” with an easy pregnancy and an easy baby that’s like saying someone was unlucky if they got into an accident while drunk driving

A line that repeats non-stop in my head, while at the gym: is Dorian Yates saying: “If it’s in your capacity… it won’t change you.” Heard it once. Has kicked my ass ever since. You hear it during every rep of every set. No bitching out. Push PAST. Applies to so many facets.

Rewatched "No Country for Old Men" yesterday, and I am placing my head under the guillotine here by saying this, but making movies with ambiguous endings is terrible art because it shows the director's and writer's lack of decisiveness in making, defending and completing their point, and by “leaving it to the audience to guess what happens”, they absolve themselves of all moral responsibility. It's how dreams on DHT, or stories in Dickens' writing, despite the intense emotions and darkness, always end with satisfying conclusions.

Silly example but a couple canker sores randomly appeared in my mouth earlier this week and now it's painful to chew food. Annoyed me until a few minutes ago when I realized they appeared around the same time I was feeling a lil down on myself for having gained a bit of belly fat Oh ok I get it now. They appeared because they make it harder to eat. And turning eating into a nuisance helps me put less food in my body which in turn helps me lose the extra pounds. I literally asked for this and universe found an interesting way to make it happen This is the narrative I've decided to run with and suddenly I'm kind of stoked on the situation. Makes me wonder how many other inconveniences have happened that I was just too in my own head to consider as an unforeseen blessing. That I complained about when I should've thanked God for looking out for my best interest. The answer is all of them

Working on a piece about rappers using numbers / math in clever ways. Obvi Kendrick's "Nosetalgia" verse is the holy grail here, but what other bars come to mind?

Sharing a photo of Magic Johnson and his family. Off to the right is his child who identifies as a transvestite. I want to ask you something and make it a debate. I agree that strong fathers do not raise transvestites. But let’s say for some unforsaken reason it did happen to you. Would you accept your daughter as Magic Johnson has? Or should I say son? Or would you do what Elon Musk did with his son and disassociate, disavow, or whatever the right word is. Claim you no longer have a child. I want serious comments

The power of compound interest is vastly underestimated by the human brain. Consistency beats sprint hustle every day. How come you look at some ppl “they didn’t even work hard!”. You’re right. But they showed up EVERYDAY no matter what. 30 min everyday for a week working on something beats working 12 hours one day a week. You can actually get what you want without working too hard. Just do a little bit everyday. For years. Can chill along the way. When the opportunity opens itself you can sprint for a day. It’s the reason these zoomers will never actually make it. “I’m escaping the matrix and getting a Bugatti!”. Well, no you are not. Because you get motivation after watching a Tate video. Too much ADHD. I will focus just for a little everyday no matter what. And get what i want. And the thing with this strategy: you can apply it to multiple things at once. Meaning you can get in shape and get rich and become an artist all at once. But the mindset needs to change. You can’t go too hard. You can’t do Chris bumstead workout routine and then think ur getting rich. Calm. Relaxed. Focused. Only worrying about the right things. Outsourcing every thing in your life and business that wastes time. The goal is to live a life where you NEVER are doing things you don’t want to do. 30 minutes light workouts feel good never hard. 2-3 hours work feel good not over worked. Few hours in the studio when you feel like it producing. Sleeping chilling doing fun things. You will pick your head up and be like holy shit I just chilled my way to success and completely enjoy it along the way. “But no you are running out of time escape the matrix!” No you just don’t know how to show up everyday without fucking off and ruining progress. Medium level output but unbelievably consistent is how you win.

Sitting here on this gorgeous Sunday doing some reflecting after a good week & thought I’d share some insight. Have met a lot of founders on here doing between $30k-$300k/mo. If you're stuck under $10k/day, you're not alone. It’s the threshold most ecom brands struggle to scale past.
Not because the product sucks.
Not because the ads stop working.
But because the business wasn't built to scale. Here’s the truth: The systems that get you to $30k/month will choke your growth at $300k+. What actually breaks when you scale: 1. Support Becomes Chaos
You can go from 1–2 tickets a day to 50+.
Refunds get missed. Chargebacks pile up.
Your team gets overwhelmed. CSAT drops. ✅ Fix: Deploy AI-first support using an SOP + role-based GPT agents trained on your FAQs, policies, and tone of voice. 2. You’re Flying Blind on Ops
You’re spending tens of thousands per month…but don’t know what your actual net profit is. Most newer founders rely on bank balance + gut feel.
They don't track true COGS, blended ROAS, or cash conversion cycles. ✅ Fix:
Set up a centralized P&L tracker with real-time margin visibility and weekly cash flow updates. 3. Creative Output Flatlines
Winning ads burn out faster than you can test. Your media buyer runs out of content. ROAS tanks. ✅ Fix: Build a content system.
We use an Airtable SOP that generates weekly hooks, angles, and briefs using AI + actual comment data. 4. Your Team Has No Clear Lanes
At $30k/month, you can get by with a generalist.
At $300k+, that model breaks. Tasks fall through the cracks. Everyone’s confused. You become the bottleneck. ✅ Fix: Build a lean org chart with clear ownership per function + assign each one a KPI and SOP bundle. Want to fix these? We put together a “$10K/Day Operator SOP” that shows you: -How we automate 80% of support with AI -The backend tracker that finds hidden profit leaks -Our Airtable system for weekly ad creative testing -The org chart + SOPs we give our operators Like the post, & reply "SOP" so I can DM it over.

Read if you're not as rich as you want. These are your actual odds at "making it" and what you must do. In the US: 1 in 1,000 make over a million a year 1 in 11,000 over 10 mil.1 in 35,000 over 20 The Truth: If you want to "make it," you must be a freak. You must be an absolute outlier of behavior. The hardest worker out of your entire high school class for a mil. The best person out of every high school class in your city for 10+ a year. You don’t get to keep normal. You don’t get to keep balance. If there’s 1,000 people in a room, you have to be better than 999 of them. If you want 20 mil+, there needs to be an entire 35,000-person army dead around your feet for you to make it. You. Don’t. Get. To. Be. Like. The 999 (or the 34,999). Stop thinking you get to be human and balanced. By default you will be completely unrelatable to anyone you meet or know. You are going to need to operate and move differently than anyone you know. Different than all your childhood, high school, and college friends. Different than your parents and family. You will NOT meet anyone who relates to you, your sacrifices, or ideals without EXTREME effort. You are, without irony, trying to be a "chosen one." By default, 99.999% of people will not understand you and your behavior. You will be seen as extremely unreasonable. I tell you this because I meet too many people who think they can make it and still behave like a normie. They even resent this and try to find ways to make it while still being normal. But when you look at these extreme odds, you can't help but draw one conclusion... You are going to have to be extreme. You must be the 1 person in 11,000 willing to give up the most and push the hardest. Normal is done for you. Embrace your extremism. Make zero concessions. Relish in it and embrace it. Don't fight it. Lean into it. Everyone wants what you want. Everyone. But only an insanely tiny, small number of the most unreasonable, odd people will get it. If you want that to be you... Quadruple down on your unreasonable oddness. It's non-negotiable.
