@glcarlstrom The key fact is that Iran is fighting for it's life. It correctly believes that the USA and especially Israel intend to destroy it. It's not credible that faced with an existential threat, the country will surrender because the USA has blocked it's exports for a month.

I don't think Iran is about to cave, but oil revenue / total GDP is not at all a useful metric for assessing the impact of a blockade
The loss of export revenue would have all sorts of ripple effects: significantly less money to pay for imports and fund the government budget, a trigger for further inflation and currency debasement, etc.
A blockade that managed to "sever all Iranian oil exports" would also presumably curtail a lot of seaborne imports, which would spread further pain across the economy
Also the Ukraine comparison is quite flawed: Ukraine has been able to lean on vast sums of Western aid that are simply unavailable to Iran

Seeing all of the commentary surrounding the Super Bowl performance, it’s showing that we lost sight of what we’ve always fought for… to be who WE ARE as artist of Hip Hop Culture. Since when did we want to fit in with the mainstream?? lol. Sure we want the mainstream platforms, but only to do US. Authentically us. That’s what always made Hip Hop so appealing.

HERE WE GO AGAIN: Friday evening, I was covering the March for Trans Lives rally in Volunteer Park. Having incredible conversations and trying to better understand this movement in light of the Tennessee mass shooting. People were coming up to me and saying hello. That is until the FAR-LEFT activists spotted me and chased me all across the park. Of course I was assaulted and had to push some people off me. No police anywhere. Tons of anti-cop sentiment along with Marxist and communist themes part of the program. ANTIFA as well. Fascinating how all of these dynamics are coming together under the transgender flag.
I regret missing the drag show. They wouldn't let me stay in this public park. So much for inclusivity.🙃 And yes, there were quite a few elementary age kids in the audience.
