He had the vision. Hence he isn’t in India anymore What he is saying is make a stadium for the spectators. No one in power ever thinks about the spectators. He was and is ahead of the rest

The Rajat Patidar's story is like a movie 😊 RCB first picked Patidar in the IPL 2021 mini-auction for his base price of ₹20 lakh. However, his initial stint went highly under the radar. He was given only four opportunities in the middle order, scoring a meager 71 runs, and was subsequently released. The real test of his patience came during the 2022 IPL Mega Auction. Despite his strong domestic credentials, his name passed without a single bid, and he went completely unsold. Believing his IPL dream had taken a backseat, Patidar returned to Indore to play division-level cricket and shifted his focus to personal milestones. Confident that he wouldn't be playing in the 2022 season, he and his family finalized his wedding dates for May of that year. However, fate took a sudden turn. Early in the 2022 season, RCB's Luvnith Sisodia suffered an injury. The franchise reached out to Patidar as a mid-season replacement. Initially, Patidar was highly reluctant to join. He was worried he would spend the entire six weeks sitting on the bench watching instead of playing, all while putting his wedding on hold. It was his close friend and former Madhya Pradesh captain, Shubham Sharma, who begged and convinced him to go, telling him, "Bhai tu ja, 100 pratishat khilayenge" (Brother, just go, they will 100% play you). Patidar postponed his wedding, packed his bags, and joined the RCB camp. The rest is history. He went on to smash a legendary 49-ball century (112* off 54 balls) against Lucknow Super Giants in the 2022 Eliminator—becoming the first uncapped player in IPL history to hit a hundred in the playoffs—and later carried Madhya Pradesh to a historic Ranji Trophy title that same year. Today he is giving consecutive trophies to a team which was only getting disappointment for 18 years. #Rajatpatidar #rcb

@monikahalan @SEBI_updates @ananthng Fantastic discussion. Ananth was candid enough to admit that SIP money is in excess of paper supply causing high valuation in equities. As a consequence, foreign money is making a smart exit. Must listen.

Is the humble Indian SIPper causing the Rupee to decline? Ex-WTM @SEBI_updates @ananthng debunks this narrative. The story of the Rupee falling and lack of FDI goes way beyond trying to break the confidence of the Indian retail investor - like some 'experts' are doing. Ananth calls for an asset-allocation approach with periodic rebalancing. Also don't miss the section on @Polymarket and prediction markets. youtube.com/watch?v=xcch2F… In partnership with @_groww

This is what good money management at net-worth level looks like. 37-year-old IT professional in Bengaluru. Two kids, one school-going. Simple portfolio. No FOMO. No churn. Portfolio review in the same month every year. Asset allocation close to target allocation. No overconcentration in a single asset class. Debt under control. Income growing faster than expenses. Lifestyle inflation contained despite rising net worth. Focus on primary profession while portfolio runs mostly on autopilot . Quiet, systematic, zero drama.

@IndiaNewGen But the other option is also equally challenging. FD gives 6% return and taxed at slab rate. You hardly get 4% after tax. Choose Between the devil and the deep blue sea.

@hihellohowryo That's the most important point. Market has no obligation to give you 12% return just because your goals are getting met with 12%.

Extreme level of stupidity when I hear from MF sellers. "20 साल का nifty का returns 12% conservative लेकर चलें तो।" One must understand the history is gone. The things which played out in the past will not be in the future. The market has to give 40% to make up for 2 years now.

5 laws of the universe that are surprisingly accurate: 1. Murphy’s Law Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. 2. Kidlin’s Law If you can write a problem down clearly, you’re already halfway to solving it. 3. Falkland’s Law When there’s no need to make a decision, don’t force one. 4. Wilson’s Law Prioritize learning and knowledge, and money will eventually follow. 5. Gilbert’s Law It’s your responsibility to find the best way to achieve the result you want.

@NeerajCNBC You are contradicting yourself. Shareholders = govt , who got dividend. Govt should suffer now because they benefitted during low oil prices.

The idea that listed OMCs should suffer the losses if they make a profit is absurd. OMCs are accountable to their shareholders, as they are publicly traded companies. A sizable portion of the dividends paid by these enterprises go to the government since the government is the largest stakeholder. So please spare companies. Underrecovery is based on the global price parity formula, if it hasn't been updated recently. @aajtak

The Indian family laws need three crucial reforms. 1. Gender-neutral legislation for DV, abuse, child custody, alimony etc. 2. Equal access to protection orders 3. Heavy penalties for misusing/weaponising the laws - on both - the lawyer, and the party who misuses. Repost.

@ShivAroor @ndtv I have shared with you several cases of blatant misuse of law, suicides, organized gangs filing false cases but you never take those stories up Shiv. Isn't media coward to not question wife and sister-in-law of Judge Aman sharma? Why no questions to Delhi Police in that case ?

Hey @abhijeet_dipke, I’ve supported you until now, but people deserve clarity. Do you support the below? • Government jobs with zero merit/marks • Private sector reservations • Policies against merit This changes the entire equation. A large section of India’s youth and Gen Z are frustrated with the reservation debate and want answers. It’s time to be clear about where you stand.

Yes, the United States has the most progressive tax system in the world. The top 1% pay 40% of taxes, the bottom 50% pay 3% of taxes. We can make it even more progressive by zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. It’s a small amount of the total tax revenue but very meaningful to people in this group.
Shay Boloor@StockSavvyShay

Jeff Bezos said the bottom half of Americans should pay zero federal income tax. He cited a nurse in Queens making ~$75K and paying ~$12K in taxes saying “we shouldn’t be asking this nurse in Queens to send money to Washington.”

I have filed 31 claims with Niva Bupa over the last four years, some cashless and some reimbursement. Claims are still being filed almost every month. Every claim has been paid in full and on time so far. If you disclose everything honestly and correctly in the proposal form, and the claim is admissible under the policy terms, insurers do pay claims.
