@westerncitizens @paulg Yes and this is a direct result of how the state institutions work (they don't). The new migration policy is a good example: if you have a good salary, education, work, - Sweden says "fuck you" to you; but if you're selling drugs you're still very welcome

@hiienko @paulg Majority have parents who are immigrants, they maybe grew up in Sweden but not swedish by culture and values.

Stockholm is remarkably walkable. At one point we were walking somewhere and we needed to check a map. It was such a relief not to have to think about the phone being stolen. In London we always duck into a doorway before checking a phone on the street.

I have an urge to try and learn Latin. I did take it as an undergraduate and used some in my historical research but now find myself oddly motivated to have a better grasp of this dead language. I am already fluent in French and semi-fluent I Spanish. Should I go for it?

Sweden is getting destroyed by mass immigration though. Alot of drugs and crime, they even have a name for it. Last time i was about to visit stockholm in january 2023 it was something like 7 bombings im the center. Different drug gangs trying to control zones. Swedish police is scared of gangs.
