Fantastic piece in ⁦the Mail on Sunday by ⁦@jimmysfarm⁩ alongside ⁦@jamieoliver⁩ it’s been brilliant to see such leadership on food and farming standards from two of this countries favourite chef’s....

Simple but telling comment from a local rural business, “we know when it’s tough in farming, they stop spending. They’ve stopped “.

So the new report states that we must use less transport, eat less red meat and buy fewer clothes to cut emissions. But the data shows that agriculture is one of the lowest and is declining so improving. So why on earth does it get so much negativity! Discuss.

@davidshukmanbbc @IPCC_CH @RHarrabin It categorically doesn't say that. I really don't understand why you are continually taking this line. As if Brexit hasn't divided the country enough you seem determined for the London bubble mentality to drive further unrest. it's been appalling reporting all day

Just had the bill in from daughter Sophie for cleaning Hideaways and house over the holidays. Charging by the half minute. Took the liberty of awarding herself a performance related bonus. What have we created..

Some of my old customers (no names) used to count trailers - they always yielded so much better than me, so I thought I'd join them this year - so far winter oats = 12.2t/ha I feel like a better farmer already!

Generally not into rules. But strict rules on Hideaways as adult only retreats, one couple. Went along at 5, two toddlers in hot tub & extra guests having bbq, kids bikes on deck. Asked to leave, still here. Happens rarely but always damage. More reasons why sheep so much easier.

One for the #vegans. My food comes from the first picture, yours comes from the second... please remember that before you try and take the moral highground over the environment 👍

Any views...? Incentivising a survey by offering participants the chance to enter a draw for high street gift vouchers. What's more appealing: 4x£50 vouchers or 2x£100. & do I set a cut off date before mid Dec so vouchers can be spent before Christmas? Or January for sales?
