Commentary: Broadcom up 2.9% after hours on the expanded Meta partnership. This is one of the cleanest validations of my AVGO thesis I could have asked for. The deal commits to multi-gigawatts of MTIA deployment through 2029, which means Meta has chosen custom silicon plus Ethernet fabric as the backbone of its "personal superintelligence" buildout rather than buying it off the shelf. AVGO's moat has always been the pairing of custom accelerator design with networking at rack scale. Meta just signed up for both for three more years. The detail that tells you how material this is: Hock Tan stepping off Meta's board into an advisor role is the governance cleanup you only do when the dollar amounts stop being advisor-scale. AVGO is a 7.3% position in the book and the Apr 22 to May 2 hyperscaler earnings stretch is where this kind of commitment starts showing up in the numbers.

I order my columns this way because it simply allows me to EASILY SEE when the big bois do their thing. 2. Delta on left of VP lets me see how much buy/sell volume divided by total volume at price at a glance. 3. Limit buys and market sells next to each other because traders lining up to buy have to buy from someone that sells 4. Limit sells and market buys next to each other because traders lining up to sell have to sell to someone that buys 5. Footprint on far right. I don’t really use it often but it’s just a nice to have.

@MichaelPatak @Topstep Switching from MNQ → NQ/ES shouldn’t carry over contract size. Platforms like TOS/Webull let you set safe defaults. Going from 5 MNQ to 5 ES by accident is dangerous. If Topstep prides itself on safety, this needs to reset to 1 or allow per-contract

@hithisisjello @ktran55 I like the 9 ema but it’s fast. You have many crossovers and fakeouts. 20 sma or 21 ema (same thing) should provide trend basis but also be a bit smoother. 20 and 9 together is a decent system. My data shows Vwap as a L/S filter is superior to both.

Well damn, you know I keep it real with yall! I blew all three XFAs, and three combines. Was trying to scalp pullbacks around 950ish, and almost 100 pt drop from there. Of course, I was heavy in MNQ, and sized too big and took a big fat L on 10k, 1.5k and 4k XFA. Was tilted out of my mind once it started dropping, and was careless. Risk management was out of the window at that point, and account was blown. Took 4ish payouts between the three XFAs, which isn’t a complete loss. But I should’ve sat out on this PA since I don’t strive in range and downside days. I’ve had one XFA that didn’t get a payout, and decided to go back2funded with the account. So as of now, I will have one XFA into tomorrow. As always keeping it 💯 you guys! One day I will conquer these emotions that I am constantly fighting with each and every day.

I don’t think I’ll get another payout this month, so here it is… AUGUST FINAL STATS Topstep: -9700 Tradeify: -3700 Lucid: -1700 Toponefutures: +3000 NET PNL: -12,000 Am I disgusted at myself? Yes Did I find out what I did wrong? Yes Did I tilt this month? Most definitely Am I perfect? No Am I giving up? Hell No Trading in general has its ups and downs. I am not afraid to show my losses because I want to show transparency and keep it real with everyone. I have nothing to hide. I will not be one of those people that just show green pnls, and hide my red pnls. That’s just not me. I’m all about integrity and transparency. I want to show other traders especially new traders that it’s okay to have red days, weeks, months, or hell even years like me. However, I am disappointed at this particular red month. Most definitely could’ve lessened the losses by avoiding tilting every other day. Hoping I can mentally instill in my head to do better by following my rules, not rushing the process, and going back to enjoying the process. Process over profits. If I could make bank the past three months, I sure can do it again. Anyways, thanks for the support, and appreciate you guys!

+6700 Brought the one xfa back from -1300 to 5300. Today is my favorite day, aka buy the dip days. Did get chopped up post cpi news with that dip, but came out ahead. Finally, a Green Day out of a sea of Red Days. Three new combines at half the profit goal. Hope you guys killed it today!

I’ll make a post today about yesterdays trades!! Hmm for me it was confidence and sizing small. If you’re sized heavy you want to move to be too soon because you’re nervous of it going the opposite way. Size light enough that the loss isn’t anything to you, which is why I always advise 5% of your drawdown. It’s super light and low risk yes you don’t make a lot but you get comfortable trading

Trading is mostly a waiting game. Patience isn’t optional; it’s the edge. Learn to relax and let the market come to you.
