Most youth pitchers don’t break down because they’re weak. They break down when workload and recovery stop lining up. @VeloRESET was built to give parents clear, science-backed guidance, so decisions feel calmer, not rushed.

Am I the only one who finds it strange that no one associated with the @MLB ever talks about how VELOCITY is measured today? I constantly hear about how much FASTER today’s MLB pitchers are throwing but where’s the evidence? Let’s take a look at these Homers hit by Stanton & Judge off of Trevor Rogers. Judge hit a (90.9) mph sinker and Stanton hit a (93.8) mph 4 seamer right? But these VELOCITY readings were taken at pitch release not at home plate or a couple feet in front of home plate so what was the actual VELOCITY at contact? If the pitch loses between 4-6 mph on its way to home plate the actual VELOCITY at contact would be (84.9-86.9) to Judge and (87.8-89.8) to Stanton right? Is this the Big Secret to try and convince the new ADHD fans that today’s players are better than ever before? I faced Randy Johnson 33 years ago yesterday in old Arlington Stadium. He struck out 18 in 8 innings and was throwing 97-99 mph measured on the old radar guns. I wonder what that would be measured with today’s technology. (103-105) mph??? #shegone @notgaetti @BobFile @twuench @billdubs @slider_sinker @SliderDominate @iamrags @ROXSystem @BLocsports @CRAIG_LAPINER @hittingguru7 @TheRealJHair @WillClark22 @DMEASrecruiting @GDBJr5 @ToddPratt07 @Dutch_Oven45 @zack_cozart

@EVPerryHusband My pleasure Perry. For sure, not easy at the higher levels, but definitely easier at the lower levels. All you need is a green belt in your EV, and you can dominate. Best part is, the kids understand it and see good measurable results to get the buy in.

Thanks for the shoutout….. not sure easy is correct, there are many layers but Ev concepts work off the only factors that matter. Timing is at the core and deception is how pitchers/catchers control timing. Sequencing is liquid and good catchers read hitters to what timing they are geared to.

Clayton Kershaw closed his opening remarks at his retirement press conference with his favorite Bible verse. "Colossians 3:23 - Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as you're working for the Lord, not for men."

And remember A LOT low back hyper extension + disc grinding happening with the 'rear leg' hitting done without proper core stability.

I have a thought tonight. Many tragedies lately and things seem to be accelerating. Some of you might disagree with this, but that’s okay. You don’t have to agree. This is your right as a human, it’s a choice. I don’t believe that anyone should be forced to believe something someone else does. I’m a Christian, and I believe everything happens for a reason. Even bad things, or tragedies. Shootings, murders, death, sickness etc. My thought, in my belief, is that God is in control of ALL things. He allows these things to happen in order to change them, or people around them. His goal is to bring people closer to Him. Why? I’ve often wondered why he would allow a 3 year old to get cancer, or allow a fatal car wreck, etc. why? A couple years ago, after my playing career ended and I was searching for a new version of me, I pondered this question deeply. Maybe I’m right, maybe I’m wrong. This is my hypothesis. As humans, we are selfish, we are controlling. We want to control our lives and even others people lives around us, but, God has a purpose for us here on this planet. If we do this purpose, and then have faith with His plan while believing that Jesus died for us, we will make it home. As Christian’s, our ultimate goal is to get to Heaven. That is where we will live eternally with our Savior. We must do His purpose for us here. I used to believe that baseball was my purpose, and I couldn’t have been more wrong. It is always our choice to turn to Him. He gave us free will for this purpose. His thoughts and ways are higher than ours. We will never truly understand until we meet him face to face. I believe that everyone has a general, Godly purpose here on this planet. That is to help others reach the Kingdom in their own way. Have a good night everyone. Isaiah 55, 8-9

What if I told you your kid’s .210 batting average is lying to you? In youth baseball & softball, it’s one of the least useful stats for measuring progress—yet parents still obsess over it. Here’s what to track instead if you actually want more hits. 🧵
