Having the connections in ecom is a cheat code This guy was getting rejected from every fintech bank in the US (just because of where he is based in) I sent him the onboarding link for slash that goes straight to the head of ecommerce Will see if this gets him in

this is a perfect example of why i tell my clients don't leave all your eggs in one basket if you've ever worked with me you know the exact solution here is multiple bank setups while slowly off-ramping to crypto the more banks the better control you have over your cash, never run the risk of keeping everything in one account

I was at dinner. Went to pay the bill, opened Apple Pay and every card was gone. Confused, I logged into @Wise. That's how I found out they closed my business account. No email. No warning. No reason. Just gone with $50,000 of my company's money locked inside. That's everything i have. I've been a @Wise customer for 5+ years. This is extremely disappointing. No notification that they'd even done it. I only knew because I couldn't pay for dinner. Then I spent hours trying to appeal — the app and website kept logging me out over and over. Finally appealed and waited for any acknowledgement at all. Silence for 3 days. So I filed a formal complaint. Two more days of silence again. Finally I called and explained, in detail, exactly what this is doing to my business. Their answer: "we've received it, we're working on it, we'll get back to you within 15 days." Here's what "15 days" means when it's your entire operating account: supplier invoices due, freight forwarders waiting to be paid to clear shipments already in transit, creators unpaid, inventory down to days. if stock didn't make it on time my Amazon listing goes out of stock, it loses the ranking I spent months and serious ad spend building, my creators will also leave and be really furious, that doesn't come back when they return my money. That damage is permanent. Every day they sit on this, they're not just holding my cash. They're dismantling the business. This is a legitimate, registered US business. Every single dollar traces to payouts and supplier invoices, fully auditable. I offered to send them everything: Payouts reports, invoices, ID, contracts. They never asked for a single document before closing me. Not one. I'm not a scammer. I'm a founder who built something over years, and I got locked out of it at a dinner table with no explanation and no way to reach a human who can help. @Wise — return my company's money. this is unacceptable Complaint case 25050042.

Why Wyoming llc for most ecom operators? I get asked this question all the time, most operators will overlook the importance of where to file your LLC. Its the number 1 mistake i have seen many clients make so let me break it down for you: -cost ($100) -speed (1 to 2 business days) -tax (0% Foreign earned) -privacy (No public fillings) I have created a doc in my tg going through the entire process of how you can implement the same tactics to become completely tax free

Chatted with a NL🇳🇱 born ecom founder who, along with his brother, is scaling a dropshipping brand to $15m/year. He's literally packing his bags to move to Bali right now. but tbh, His setup is trash (to put it nicely). They're processing $15m/year through a UK LTD (?) registered in their father's name, a workaround from a Shopify Payments ban, which is pointless considering a majority of their revenue is US based. Layer on top of that a messy web of UK and Hong Kong entities bleeding them dry on cross-border processing and transaction fees. And because their personal tax residency is still in the Netherlands? They're handing over hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes for every $1m in profit. Running a 8fig biz through someone else's entity while living in the wrong country. Wild. Here's the 3 Phantom Pillar overhaul we're building: 🔥 Pillar 1: Biz and processing setup. Ditch the UK LTD, form a clean US LLC immediately. This becomes the operational nerve center for the business. As a pass-through entity, it eliminates unnecessary cross-border fees, gets them onto stable US banking via Slash or Chase, and most importantly, removes the single biggest legal risk in the whole operation. No more processing millions through dad's company. 🔥 Pillar 2: Personal Tax setup. Formally exit the Netherlands tax system. We're connecting them with the Phantom community tax attorney to make the Dubai residency shift official. Because the US LLC is a pass-through entity, all biz profits flow directly to a UAE resident. UAE has 0% personal income tax. That $300k+ they're currently giving away on every $1M in profit? Gone. Legally, cleanly, permanently. 🔥 Pillar 3: Wealth generation structure. Park all profits into a Panama Foundation or similar so their net worth can grow tax free away from the prying eyes of governements. Not too focused on this yet until the first 2 pillars are complete, but worth nothing for the future. Then of course, we are going to Fast-track the US credit stack without waiting 8-12 months to build an ITIN credit score. The move here is a $100,000 Chase bank deposit, which triggers a relationship banking path and bypasses the standard underwriting process entirely. Within 2-3 months, that unlocks access to the Chase Biz Sapphire Reserve (3x unlimited points on ad spend, $800 annual travel credit, 1,500+ airport lounges) and Amex Business Gold (4x on ads). With the volume they're spending, the points compounding on that stack alone is going to be enormous. The beauty of this is how it all fits together. The LLC cleans up the operations and banking. The banking relationship unlocks the credit stack. The Dubai residency makes the entire profit picture tax-free because of how the LLC flows income through. The clean 0% income will then rest inside a foundation to grow like beast. By the time they arrive in Bali, the structure underneath them will be completely bulletproof. The only taxes they'll owe are exactly $0. Most founders at this revenue level think the hard part is growing the business. It's not. It's keeping what you built. If ur running serious volume and your entity setup, tax residency, or credit stack hasn't kept pace with your revenue, we should talk.

@PhantomStays @omarecomuk Once you receive payouts binded to the currency (£) It’s impossible to change to receiving in ($) payments Especially a LLC setup, there’s no way for shopify to migrate the new LLC to be replaced with the existing

@omarecomuk @PhantomStays done something similar for a client and the most optimised approach is a duplicate shopify setup with the new US LLC, unfortunately there’s no workaround with switching the existing one

@PhantomStays bro the biggest obstacle here is switching shopify from uk ltd to us llc, it is not that simple , you have to desactivate ur UK SP, switch us llc, apply for US SP, takes up to 7 days , then you get payout hold up to 21 days for new US SP account what is the workaround to this ?

A Hong Kong company is the closest thing e-com has to old-school Swiss banking. “English common law” same system as the UK. Contracts hold and disputes get resolved properly, which matters the second money crosses a border. A real reputation. Wires in and out don't get treated like they crawled out of a shell company. Try that with a BVI setup and watch what happens. Actually crypto-friendly. Regulated ramps between banks and exchanges, rare for a jurisdiction this clean. 0% on foreign-sourced profit. Hong Kong only taxes what's earned in Hong Kong. Your overseas profit was never theirs. And it's fully remote. No relocation, no minimum days on the ground. That's the UAE tradeoff you skip. Rough rule: under 50k/month, a US LLC usually does the job. Past that, Hong Kong wins. On privacy, straight: no public register of owners, so your name isn't on a public list keeping you essentially invisible.
