@Fx1Jonny The question asker's correction to emphasise *Israeli* civilians was a little telling, no? "I don't mean ANY civilians, only these specific special ones." Also to place the safety of a dog higher than another ethnicity's civilians.

This israeli asks a question about her son’s and his puppies safety and how they had to hide in a safe house. Listen to the response from Randa Abdelfattah, it’s just brutal honesty 👏👏👏

This story is insane. The BBC just changed a direct quote — meaning one of them is a lie. Consider the options: either the BBC lied that someone said they were happy for an atomic bomb to strike their city, or they softened that clearly psychopathic language but kept that quote in as if the source is credible. Either the BBC is manufacturing consent to use atomic bombs, or they’re happy to platform someone else who did so. No sane person says they’re OK being in the city an atomic bomb hits, obviously. That goes without saying. But the BBC thinks this is valid reporting. Western media institutions like this deserve to die.

☀️👀@zei_squirrel

holy shit, the BBC just edited the passage from their anonymous "Iranian source" and removed the begging for being left without electricity, water and being nuked to death. So they admitted to fabricating the quote without any formal correction. This is utterly insane

Claiming that "this waterway is a global public good" requires facing two questions: First, where was the EU when this "global public good" was available to everyone except Iran—a coastal country on the Strait of Hormuz? For years, Iran’s oil and trade were disrupted by the Americans through their unilateral and illegal maximum sanctions. Yet, Iran exercised self-restraint for decades; the EU noticed this but did not bother to reiterate that the Strait of Hormuz is a "global public good." Second, the flow is constrained by the aggression of the American and Israeli regimes, why then tout the EU’s Aspides naval mission instead of stopping the aggression itself?
Kaja Kallas@kajakallas

Thank you @YvetteCooperMP for convening a call of over 40 countries on the Strait of Hormuz. This waterway is a global public good. Iran cannot be allowed to charge countries a bounty to let ships pass. International law doesn’t recognise pay-to-pass schemes. Today, we looked at diplomatic, economic, and security measures to restore safe passage, alongside working with the shipping industry. The EU’s Aspides naval mission has already assisted 1,700 ships in the Red Sea and must be scaled up. We cannot afford to lose another critical trade route. We support work by the UN on humanitarian corridors in the Strait to get food and fertilisers out. The EU has tools to track and facilitate transit that could help with that.

I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran. This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war. Tehran is a city of nearly 10,000,000 people. Imagine nuking Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or beyond, bombed with nuclear weapons. I gave up my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late. Yesterday, nearly ten million people protested “No Kings” in the United States. The possibility of the use of nuclear weapons must be taken very seriously. It's dangerous. Act now. Spread this message worldwide. Take the streets. Protest for our humanity and future. Only the people can stop it. History will remember us.

I won't call you antisemitic just ill-informed. The U.N. has openly admitted that Israel are the victims not the aggressors. Which is a first, as they are known antisemites. The new laws are (unfortunately) not retrospective, so in a sense they are absolving hamas for previous atrocities. The new law is a warning shot. Fuck with us again and there will be a price to pay.

To all those supporting Israel, to all Zionists, and to all those anti-Palestinian supporters. You can really go fuck yourself now. This is called ethnic cleansing. Call me antisemitic, I don’t give a fuck. This is on you, not me. A barbaric regime if ever there was one.

Today, March 30, 2026, the Knesset votes on the Palestinian prisoners’ death penalty law ⚠️ A move that throws thousands of prisoners into the face of death. Ben-Gvir and his party members wore a noose-shaped pin, demanding it be turned into an enforceable law. 🆘Save the prisoners✊🕊️

@thetwelver @SenatorWong If Iran did it. Lordy lordy, it'd never leave the news headlines. I assume the perps will investigate themselves, and it'll have been the enemy that did it. Then it'll be a missile shot down by the enemy. Then it'll be a mistake. But by then it'll be forgotten.

@SenatorWong If Russia or China did this we would never hear the end of it. But Israel gets a free pass to kill medics, children, journalists, and UN workers, bombing hospitals and schools, to not even one word of condemnation. Hypocritical and disgusting from the government.
