I do genuinely like to see Jonathan back on the ballot in 2027. He deserves a second chance, especially given how he handled his time in office and peacefully handed over power. At this stage were zoning matter more than competence, I think people who want leadership base on zoning only should consider him

The Obidients started this campaign with the turn of the south mantra. Tinubu also officialised it. It is the turn of the south while sitting on 63% of northern votes in the Aso Villa. Millions of Atiku supporters do not believe in a turn by turn arrangement that is not in our constitution and party bylaws. We also believe that Atiku is more competent than Obi and Tinubu combined. To counter this stubborn southern sentiments, we are launching a northern regional sentiment for Atiku. We shall lock down the NE and NW and parts of NC and see how the turn of the south thing can work. The north contributed majority of the votes that produced the sitting southern president and we got nothing but insecurity, poverty, and arrogant discrimination. We need a northern president to fix this mess. So, 2027 is the turn of the north and Atiku is that northern candidate.

Tinubu won re-election the day Obi & Kwankwaso divided the already weak opposition. All you will be seeing from now till election are supporters of Nigerian politicians entertaining each other. We will come to this post after election. Go and face your life and hustle.

Pantami is dumb. I know some people might take offense, but I have zero regrets saying it. His interview on TVC really exposed him. He rushed through almost every question without thinking about the implications, all in a desperate bid to sound smart and intellectual. Sigh.

BABATUNDE LASISI: "As 2027 approaches, Obi’s political journey continues to evolve. His recent migration from the Labour Party to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in late 2025, and his subsequent move to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in May 2026 alongside Rabiu Kwankwaso, suggests a movement in search of a stable platform. These shifts raise questions about whether the movement is strategically repositioning or simply wandering. The three categories of supporters will soon reconfigure. The strategic beneficiaries will recalculate their odds, ethnic loyalists will remain faithful to the symbol, and the bandwagon believers will either mature or drift toward the next compelling personality. The ultimate test for 2027 is whether this movement can move beyond the politics of personality to build something that lasts." thecable.ng/the-anatomy-of…

Since the removal of electricity from exclusive list southern states are busy trying to create power plants for their states. I still have not heard of any northern state doing same , the north have abundant sun that solar plants can thrive very well Allah hoinu.

Peter Obi’s exit is a major blow to Atiku’s 2027 presidential ambition. From a realist standpoint, securing 25 percent across southern states will become far more difficult to Atiku without Obi on his ticket. While Atiku will struggle in vain to make electoral inroads in the South, Obi will make incursion into Atiku’s northern turf, winning Plateau, Nasarawa, the FCT, and possibly Benue and Taraba. Obi will also make a good showing in other Northern states with significant Christian communities such as Southern Kaduna, Southern Borno, Southern Gombe and Southern Adamawa. Don’t downplay it. Obi’s absence has reshaped the electoral map, and Atiku is feeling the weight of it.

And this is not because Peter Obi left, I have always been for a southern candidate, but as of today I would rather have Tinubu continue than Peter Obi as a president. He has proven himself untrustworthy, undependable, a coward, and a very selfish man. And because he left doesn't mean we will forget our moral standings, So 2027 should be a southern affair.
