My bill, the TRACE Act, would prevent violent criminals from obtaining firearms by establishing a national tracking system for black market guns. Illinois has gun tracking laws at the state level, but there is no federal law stopping perpetrators from buying guns in nearby states and coming here.

This weekend, Chicago suffered multiple shootings, including at a Juneteenth celebration where a gunman opened fire while driving by. My thoughts are with the 39 victims, including the six who were killed, and their loved ones.   Acts of mass violence like these remind us that Americans deserve more than thoughts from their elected officials—they deserve action. The concept I have had for quite some time — A strong feeling that the name of these Patriots, “ICE,” should be changed to, “NICE,” in that it will totally discombobulate Crooked, Dishonest, and Unpatriotic Reporters and Journalists. For them to say, “We went to a NICE Facility today,” as opposed to “ICE” or, “NICE Agents have deported a Violent Drug Dealer,” they won’t be able to handle it, they will go totally crazy! All it means is adding an “N” (“National”) to “ICE (“Immigration and Customs Enforcement”) — A much more prestigious name. One big problem i find with AI is that as the owner of a large publicly visible company I cannot use it for creative works GPT for instance sometimes refuses to create content for my company saying it violates Timcast's copyright and trademark despite the fact the graphics are for the company Similarly Suno will not allow me to edit or remix my own songs because they are protected and publicly visible To put it simply these AIs are trying to protect IP and thus blocking me from using my own IP Yet a smaller company which is less visible has no issue creating images, graphics, videos, or music for their companies
