@immasiddx I don't think enough people would get value out of it. It would be better than having to use my phone but I don't think I'd pay a monthly fee for something I'd use only 1-2x a month max.

You can close your laptop lid and let your agents run with caffeinate or pmset on a Mac, right? All of this "open lid" trend is just for fun, right?

@ClaudeDevs I think the tools not running in sandboxes is #1. But this is a close #2.

Managing API keys is one of the top security concerns we hear from customers. Today we’re introducing keyless auth for Claude Platform: authenticate via browser with the CLI, or let workloads use their existing cloud identity (AWS, GCP, Azure, or any OIDC token provider).

Is there a place people are sharing support nightmares created by listening listening to bad advice from AI? I’m thinking along the lines of the short form “customer states” mechanic videos or something. Some of the stuff I have seen since ChatGPT launched is just insane. I can’t be the only one. I need to know others are experiencing my pain. 😂

The furthest I've come to maxing out my weekly limit. I seriously don't know how people have issues with limits.

How are people tracking session limits with agents? There seems to be 100 different vibe coded tools that all suck.

VTubers think that you need to post short-form content to find growth, but this is wrong. What you really need is to get pregnant. The more children you have, the faster you can increase your viewership. 1 new child = 1 new viewer. This concept can be taken further by home-schooling them and teaching them to edit your videos and manage your content, resulting in exponential growth. I have already done this several times, and the results have been incredible.

@aaditsh I've been wondering why people were so quick to switch and am surprised to hear that the barrier is low. The barrier is why I don't fully switch. To get parody with my existing environment with Claude it would require a update of almost all my tooling.

I use all of the major LLMs on a weekly basis across both my businesses. The thing people are missing about this trend is that it's not really about Claude vs OpenAI. It's that developers are switching back and forth every few months depending on who shipped last. Claude was the best coding model for months. GPT-5.5 launched recently and all I see is people moving. Now DeepSeek V4 is already pulling users from both. Switching cost is basically zero at the individual level. You can move your entire workflow in an afternoon. I think that's the real story. Not which model is winning right now but the fact that none of them can hold onto individual users for more than a few months. Enterprise is different. Those contracts are sticky. But at the developer and power user layer, there is no moat right now.

A vibecoder cannot comprehend: - security for his app - auth in the app - payment integration - scaling issues It’s difficult to create production apps.

>132k stars >failing CI in main >unsigned commits in main >broken nix builds or nixos modules in releases this is AI software, so naturally 99.99% of code is written by AI. hundreds of contributors make thousands of commits and add 200k+ LOC weekly. there is 3k issues and 5k+ PRs

This is why I refuse to run these clients outside of a container or a fully remote sandboxed VM. Makes the UX interaction side a lot more painful (X11 forwarding on Windows in particular is... kinda hellish) but it mostly forces breakage into a controllable blast radius. Sure they do produce useful work, but the token burn and system stability risk merit great caution until harnesses have evolved more sophisticated safety nets around system changes. Whether MS or Linux, a simple sandbox with Docker is not going to cost you appreciably more than running these heavy NPM client apps raw, and it'll make you a lot less likely to mispress an approval that bricks your OS.

CLAUDE JUST TRIED TO RENAME POWERSHELL.EXE ON WINDOWS 11 this guy was running opus 4.7 on max effort in claude code CLI claude tried to rename powershell.exe (the actual system executable that windows needs to function) the funny part is that after the guy rejected the change it responded with "honest take: you're right to push back" not even system32 is safe anymore at this point we gotta start running claude in a container give it max effort and full permissions and it will confidently try to destroy your system without hesitating then respond with something like "I was wrong, I own that" the agent doesn't know which files are off limits unless you explicitly tell it stop giving AI full access to your machine and hoping it knows what not to touch

@N104AP its good, if you just want an out of box Arch experience with no extra work I'd suggest it. I've ran it on my Desktop for over a year now. I keep saying I'll switch to regular Arch but its just easier to stay here.

@honkinwaffle @NimaZeighami Then consoles wouldn’t exist I suppose because in order to get that flexibility you’d need an open platform and I can’t see Sony or Nintendo doing that any time soon

Every single person coding with AI right now: Day 1: Vibe-code an entire app Day 2: Buy the domain. Day 3: Sit down to start marketing. Day 4: See a competitor, panic, and go back to Claude to build something else. We are just watching thousands of developers violently avoid doing sales.
