Wow, Godot is harder than I thought haha. but honestly, It's not hard enough to make me quit yet. I got my main goal done and that is to get my character walking around in a scene. Between using tutorials and grok, I was able to slap this controller together. #godot #gamedev #b3d

@hopprbro In my tests, most latin based character languages like Polish or Spanish can be done with pretty basic models locally with no issue. All come back perfect with even a tiny model When it comes to languages like Japanese it needs something like Gemma 4 27B or they get chewed up

Replaced the AnimationTree with a custom tool script. I needed: - some animations to auto-advance when they finish - simple centralized custom speeds for certain animations Best time to code it right: from the start. Second best time: right now. #godot #indiegame #gamedev

I love #godot but man I've got to believe there's a way to make animation trees usable or at the very least legible once you need more than like ten animation nodes. Most things in my game so far don't, but my player character is ROUGH. #indiegame #gamedev

Day 72 devlog 🎮 Played around with the trail addon and got something close to what I wanted. The problem is I can't activate it at the right moments without causing a weird bug 😅 If I can't find a better solution, it might stay like this. #gamedev #indiedev #GodotEngine #WIP

In v0.227 of LRD Vehicle System for Godot 4.x, Helicopter NPCs are working, with 5 pilots doing their damnedest to fly through the hoops in a clockwise fashion without crashing. Models can be overridden to suit the needs of the host game. #godot #gameDev #indieDev
