In view of the recent controversy surrounding Jonathan’s release from prison and the clear proof that the allegations of mismanagement of public donations were politically motivated attacks by irrelevant elements and their errand boys/girls, I have carefully reflected and taken a firm decision. Effective immediately, I will take no part in any matter that requires public involvement or crowdfunding. Anyone who needs financial support must source it independently, as I will no longer use my platform to raise funds for anyone, no matter how deserving. For those requiring my legal services, kindly follow the formal channel: contact my office directly or engage through proper legal procedures. This ensures focus on professional integrity without distractions. Thank you for your past support and understanding. We move forward with dignity. Once you figure out how to shop smart on Temu, that’s it you’re locked in. If you’re a sneaker lover, go straight to the Puma store. You’ll find rare pairs they hardly ship to this side of the world sitting there like it’s nothing.

BREAKING: IRAN WARNS UAE: “As we previously announced, and as we have practically proven, we will target the source of any aggression that occurs against our lands and national sovereignty. We warn the United Arab Emirates that in the event of any repeated aggression launched from its territories toward the Iranian islands of Abu Musa and Greater Tunb in the Persian Gulf, the Iranian Armed Forces will place the Emirate of Ras al-Khaimah under direct and devastating strikes.”

It looks good, but pap is very horrible for your health, it doesn't have any fiber, it's pure sugar and it goes straight into your system you spike your blood sugar and it has zero nutrients beyond carbohydrates. Also, making a hot pap in a plastic container is toxic because it releases dangerous petrochemicals and endocrine disruptors into your body. Let's be guided.

@omide72 @Ada_Odogwu @judifrizi @Tutsy22 Have you ever been deported before? Even trump was shouting the other day about countries not accepting deportees. You don’t just haul people in a plane and dump them in a country in the name of deportation. The other country can frustrate that and that’s what this agreement is..

The £746 million deal is a loan. The UK is getting 20% of the contract. Despite all the billions this government has spent on Ajaokuta, we will still be buying steel from British Steel for £70M under the contract signed. Fully refurbished ports is a win for Nigeria but we know this corrupt government are taking the money for their own pockets NOT for the ports.

@Ada_Odogwu @judifrizi @Tutsy22 We are talking of people that are claiming Asylum, how do you think they do it. And let me ask, did you read the news beyond the headline? Even in the UK media?

The new deal aims to remove long-standing administrative hurdles that previously delayed deportations:  •Alternative Documentation: Nigeria will now accept "UK Letters" (diplomatic notes) in place of traditional passports to facilitate removals, bypassing the often-lengthy process of waiting for emergency travel documents from the Nigerian High Commission. •Targeted Groups: The deal specifically targets failed asylum seekers, foreign national offenders(criminals), and visa overstayers. •Scope: UK authorities have identified over 2,000 Nigerians currently in the system for expedited removal, including 961 failed asylum seekers and 1,110 convicted criminals. •Joint Law Enforcement: A new "fusion cell" model was introduced to foster intelligence sharing between public institutions, financial bodies, and tech firms to combat organized immigration crime, such as visa fraud and sham marriages.

@nwaegbe_nkem @TosinOlugbenga Many claimed they do not have passport without which immigration wont allow them into the country. The agreement will allow entry with a note written by the british govt.

Why is there a need for a special agreement? Has this not been the case already? People are generally deported to their country of origin or am I missing something? What I read about this agreement is that it includes “foreign criminals” and I am aware that Rwanda rejected a similar deal. I don’t think any country can reject its citizens.

WHY THIS IS A GOOD AGREEMENT. Not minding those who are blindly against this agreement, it’s a good deal for Nigerians especially those with aspirations to one day migrate to the UK. While this agreement is explicitly about NIGERIANS (not other nationals) who have outstayed their visa or failed their asylum applications (determined by the Asylum court in the UK), many have lied that it’s for everyone from any part of the world. If Nigeria refuses this agreement to take their citizens back who have no rights to remain in the UK, the UK government will place NIGERIA on visa ban, that means anyone with legitimate reasons to be in the UK whether for study, visits or employment will be affected. If your country has record number of overstaying asylum seekers, the UK governments will put in strict measures for your citizens when they apply for visas. Recently, the UK Govt took key actions include banning or pausing study and work visas for nationals from Afghanistan, Cameroon, Myanmar, and Sudan due to high volumes of visa abuse and asylum claims. When you travel abroad and your visa expires, return to your country so you don’t block opportunities for others. Ignore those blindly against the agreement, it’s good for everyone including you willing to travel to UK someday.
Ministry of Interior@MinOfInteriorNG

The agreement signed by the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo on behalf of the government of Nigeria and Home Secretary, Rt Hon Shabana Mahmood on behalf of the UK government, guarantees that returnees will be treated with dignity, rights retention under domestic law, and may re-enter in the future if they meet the applicable immigration requirements. It also provides detailed arrangements for the dignified return and reintegration of NIGERIANS who do not have the legal right to remain in the UK. This arrangement includes: the use of secured travel documentation, case-by-case identity verification, and safeguards for vulnerable individuals and potential victims of trafficking. This framework also sets out clear definitions, scope, and areas of cooperation, including; information sharing, capacity building, training, and joint research on migration management and border security.
