Time for a New VIBE: Announcing my Exit from RiVR and the Future of Reality Capture After a year-long transition and the successful acquisition of the RiVR training software suite by LearnPro Group, I’m officially announcing my exit from the company to launch my latest venture: VIBE. The acquisition, which was finalized following a strategic integration period, means LearnPro Group now owns the photorealistic investigation tools and 360 video syncing solutions that my core team and I designed and built. These industry-leading products solve complex, real-world training challenges for our global public safety and defense clients. The sale of the RiVR software suite is a milestone I am incredibly proud of. It represents years of obsessive work by a world-class team, and I am extremely happy to see those solutions move forward under LearnPro’s stewardship. Now that the software division is transitioning to its permanent home within LearnPro’s ecosystem, this exit allows me to focus 100 percent on my true addiction: scanning the real world and recreating it with absolute cinematic precision for the next generation of spatial computing. I’m returning to my core passion: the high-fidelity digitization of the physical world for the entertainment and heritage sectors. The launch of VIBE is the next evolution of a career built on technical world-building. From my early roots in AAA production at Codemasters to a lifelong mastery of photography and cinematography, I'm now doubling down on The Digital Preservation of Reality. With VIBE, we are moving away from the training sector to focus exclusively on creating hyper-realistic interactive experiences for Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest, SteamVR, and Google ecosystems. Utilizing cutting-edge Reality Capture techniques, we are currently building an elite global library of historical assets and environments for the Film, TV, and Heritage industries. VIBE’s mission is to bridge the gap between watching a story and stepping into it. We're already engaging in high-level projects that allow users to experience historical landmarks & film sets with unprecedented fidelity whether that means standing on the Wall in Game of Thrones with Jon Snow in a Vision Pro or exploring medieval Warwick Castle in VR. The exit from the training sector was a successful chapter, but VIBE is the mission. We are building the future of how humanity interacts with history and entertainment. @justplayed @RegaResearch Sorry to hear that Gareth. I’m sure you’ve done the googling, but these sudden fails seem to be fairly common with Rega’s accessories, and if it’s not the fuses then it’s likely a component failure on the PCB which needs a professional repair. Hope you get it sorted sir.

My beloved @RegaResearch Aria Mk2 suddenly stopped working on Saturday. Have tried replacement fuse in the plug & in the unit itself. With new fuses in the unit, the logo on the front briefly lights up & then goes and the unit won’t work. Any tips? January’s column relies on it!

I blame the @pluralvinylpod for this purchase. I streamed it the other week by the 4th song it was in my basket to order. Absolutely beautiful. So much so that I'm also seeing him in concert in Nov. Spent way more than £59.99, beware the pod!

Of course I could be wrong. No idea how Dillon got involved, but I'd take a punt he got friendly with Strummer somewhere along the way.
