We just need to pay what they want off us at this point. If we really want him and we’ll still be well within PSR. I know it’s a sickener to pay that amount on one player but he’s probably worth that much in today’s market

He’s made it clear the relationship won’t be fixed and they’re still pushing for him to forget it and stay. This also doesn’t bode well for them in future transfer windows being able to secure targets. I can see this putting talent off making the move.
