@sickguybri @AGoldmund I rarely comment on this platform, but come on dude. Your rant says more about your own insecurities than about alex. people who are doing well don’t waste time frothing online calling successful journalists “bozos.” cope disguised as criticism.

In 24 hours, I’ll be picking a state to base from for the eclipse. These maps have been on my photography office wall for the past year. Let the adventure begin.

@BriannaWu Can you point me to where it says they want a genocide of all Jews in their charter? I don't agree with violence on all sides. I also don't agree with how the Palestinians have been treated in Gaza and the illegal settlements that violate international law that go unchecked.

Why does Israel strike back so hard militarily? Because historically, everyone in the region wants to genocide them and strength is the only way they’ve been able to find safety for their civilians. Example: On October 6th 1973, Egypt and Syria launched surprise attack on Israel on their holiest day. Syria attacked the northeast, and Egypt attacked the southwest. Imagine Canada and Mexico launching a surprise attack on America on July 4th to get a sense of the betrayal. Like the October 7th attack, Israel was caught off guard. But they have mandatory conscription and a vast reserve army. Israel initiated a massive counter attack and was able to turn the war in their favor. Saying Israel hit back hard is an understatement. They used tanks and airstrikes, and killed 15,000 Egyptian troops. They engaged in the largest armored offenses since World War II, taking back territory that had been stolen. Ultimately, this led to the Camp David Accords of 1978 and the 1979 peace treaty between Israel and Egypt - which reshaped the Middle East. This is led to FOUR DECADES of peace with Egypt and a massive increase of stability in the region. A poll of Palestinians came out yesterday, showing that despite Hamas using them as human shields, despite Hamas refusing to end the war, despite Hamas launching the October 7th attack that directly lead to the destruction of Gaza and despite the displacement of 1.4 million civilians - a majority STILL want the terrorists in power. The Hamas charter directly calls for the genocide of all Jews in Israel. In a historical context, I don’t know where this can go, except for an invasion of Rafah to continue eliminating Hamas - because Israel has been taught by war after war - being extremely aggressive is their only pathway to survive.

Eileen O’Neill Burke breaking out an eleventh hour Lucille Bluth impersonation 🍸 what a BOLD, yet ill-advised tactic lmao Cannot stop laughing at the stark difference between her and Clayton Harris III that ABC7 managed to distill into only 38 seconds

Congestion pricing can help reduce traffic in Boston but investing in improving expanding rapid transit would give people more confidence in not bringing their car into the city and probably have more impact.

Does anyone have any insight why a printed world map would have Uranium City, Saskatchewan (population 73) displayed on a map? It seems random.

Mom had her second e-bike stolen last week. Lock cut at 17th and Folsom. So my siblings and I are going to get her a badass lock for Christmas - SF bike friends: do you have any lock recommendations? We are optimizing for security and ability to be carried on an e-bike. Thanks!
