Cebu has 414 flood control projects worth to P26.7 billion from 2022 to 2025 - meant to protect our people, homes and livestock. What happened?! At hindi lang ito sa Cebu province, buong Pilipinas binabaha dahil ninanakaw lang naman ang flood control. Extreme weather conditions will only worsen. It is a part of the world we live in today. What breaks my heart is seeing how our people are suffering because of systemic corruption. Nakaka-awa ang ordinaryong Pilipino. Ramdam ko lahat ng concerns niyo Some people noticed that my thoughts were all over the place… and honestly, I couldn’t quite piece together or articulate the words I really wanted to say. I was trying to be careful, careful not to be misunderstood, and not to say anything that might be taken out of context. That said, I just want to ask for a bit of understanding. I hope we can avoid making negative comments about the people who genuinely care for me. Whether it’s family, friends, or anyone close to me, these people have been a big part of my strength and growth, just like many of you. Not everything is visible online. And sometimes, the way things are presented can lead people to believe something that isn’t fully true. There has been a lot of false or misleading information out there… not because people twisted it on purpose, but because that’s how it was fed or framed. Let’s not drag them into things they had nothing to do with. It’s not always about me, or them. There’s been a lot of good happening lately, whether it’s for us or for others, and I hope we can focus on that and continue moving forward together. I know your opinions come from a place of care, and I respect that. But if that concern unintentionally affects the people around me, it hurts me as well ☹️ I know you’ve always been understanding, and I trust that this message won’t be misunderstood.
