We're excited to announce that Ember has raised a $4.3M seed funding round led by @NexusVP. We’ve come a long way in the last four years. We’re working with some of America’s largest and most prestigious healthcare institutions. We’ve moved into a new office. We’re staffing up and building out. But we know the work is just beginning. We have a long way to go to solve America’s healthcare denial crisis. We’re grateful to all the investors, advisors, and supporters who shared our belief in Ember’s potential, including @ycombinator, @garrytan, @oneabhishek, @yuris, @kul, @karrwinn, @suexuamino, @LarryLiAmino, @JdotJdotF, @RichAberman, @jakemintz, @ooshma, and so many others who helped us get to where we are today. Thank you all for believing in our team, our technology, and our vision.

Congrats to @EmberCopilotAI on their $4.3M seed! Ember wants to solve America’s healthcare denial crisis. They prevent denials before they happen—documenting visits, reviewing charts, and ensuring claims comply with payer requirements. Health systems using Ember are already seeing results: 57% fewer denials, 83% less admin time, and 25% higher net collection rates. embercopilot.ai/nexus-venture-…

Three years ago, we couldn't afford a subway ad. Today, we're in Times Square. The secret? We optimized for being wrong quickly, not looking right. We killed features we loved, turned down revenue that pulled us off course, and chose curiosity over ego. Stay humble. Stay building.

Introducing MARS, the first Personal AI Robot. In technology, getting to the future we want starts with building it together. This is why we designed Mars. Inspired by early PCs, Mars is a powerful, complete, extendable robot. It runs BASIC, an open embodied AI agent we created for you to program with code, demonstrations, and prompts. This allows Mars to perform complex long-horizon tasks involving spatial memory, reasoning, manipulation and navigation. Pre-orders open now ⬇️ Demos & details in the thread

Behind closed doors at YC’s 1st female Founder Mode dinner, we cut straight to the hard stuff: fire faster, audit like a customer, use AI as your mirror, and promote resourceful learners. Grateful to @ycombinator for gathering such a badass crew. (👀 btw, Ember is hiring!)

2020 was a challenging year. The pandemic crushed my startup, @ZeusLiving. We were in a mad fight for survival. I learned a lot about resilience, teamwork & belief, whilst making some mistakes along the way. I'll share some of that experience here. /Thread

A few weeks ago the @ycombinator batch begged me to make a CRM crash course for founder-led sales. After multiple drink offers 🍻— I gave in. The session itself went semi-viral inside the batch, and people keep asking for the video. If you’re doing founder-led sales, the CRM might feel like this clunky behemoth system—it doesn’t have to. In the video I go over the absolute basics: → The only 3 CRM objects that REALLY matter (Deals, Contacts, Companies) → CRM best practices → Why logging every interaction isn't optional → How to set up/automate your CRM so it becomes your single source of truth (and sales doesn't hate using it) I wasn’t planning on releasing this outside the YC group, but given the response, happy to share it with others running early sales teams. If you want the video → just comment "CRM" and I’ll DM it to you. Thank you to Aaron Zelinger, @ghita__ha, @Pashpops, @JoshSabol, Thibault Henriet. @NityaArora14, @gunwoo__kim, @adinagoerres for making sure I got this out. This ended up being one of the highest ROI hours I’ve spent lately — founders really need better sales and CRM playbooks. If you’re in the trenches with founder-led sales and figuring this out, happy to help.

ACHE is one of the most welcoming conferences I’ve been to. Everyone is here to connect and share ideas on how to manage change in healthcare. It was great seeing both familiar and new faces from California, Texas, and Ohio yesterday. This week is full of great conversations about growth, leading change, and staying financially strong. I’m looking forward to more good talks. If you’re in Houston this week, come say hi! #ACHECongress

The experience at American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (@AAOS1) 2025 is incredible! It was great to see so many talented surgeons in one place, sharing knowledge, challenges, and solutions for the future of orthopedics. Now, let’s talk about something different. 𝗡𝗼, 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀. But what we do is just as critical—we help surgeons 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘀 and invest in the tools that actually make a difference in their practice. Because let’s be real: ✅ 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 ✅ 𝗢𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗻𝘀' 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘁 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻 ✅ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻—𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀—𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 Yet, amidst all these challenges, I had the chance to meet some business-savvy surgeons who are successfully running incredible private practices—even as the industry sees more roll-ups and consolidation. They’re making it work, and their strategies are worth sharing. There’s so much to automate in ortho. If you're a surgeon navigating these challenges, DM me—I’d love to connect and have a quick chat. Let’s make things easier and more profitable for you. #AAOS2025 #Orthopedics #HealthcareFinance
