There is about 6 “locks” for the roster: - Aireontae Ersery - Keylan Rutledge - Ed Ingram - Febechi Nwaiwu - Braden Smith - Wyatt Teller That leaves 3 open spots between: - Jake Andrews - Evan Brown - Trent Brown (would say he’s likely to make it) - Blake Fisher - Jarrett Patterson There is going to very real competition for multiple spots during camp.

Nwaiwu had good film at Center vs Alabama Rutledge and Nwaiwu are great bets to toughen up our IOL for the future and we’ve got the versatility to find our “best 5”

I’ve thought this for a while but the LB need stuff is very overplayed in my opinion. - Azeez will be back in 27 that is Demeco’s guy - Henry likely walks in 27 but is a skillset HOU can easily replace even with just Speed. Their current LB starters are a UDFA & 5th round pick with Demeco Ryans at HC, that group is going to be fine.

I wouldn’t think too much into the Nico trade thing as of now but the premise isn’t entirely incorrect. He absolutely does need a new contract whether this offseason or next & the Texans have many players to pay in the future. Nico would be the priority for me over Lassiter, Bullock & others but the FO may not feel that way. I would be shocked if he wasn’t on this football team next season however.
