CCTV from inside St Charles Borromeo Cathedral shows a disabled elderly lady entering on Monday evening for mass, only to be followed in by an invader who attacks and robs her of a necklace.

Completely agree.
However, we should also have sentences that reflect the seriousness of sex offence crimes, where defendants are routinely handed suspended sentences, even when their crimes are extensive and they are found in possession of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of images. Will you ensure they are not given suspended sentences?

The right to peaceful protest is a cornerstone of our democracy, but there is never any justification for attacking police officers, intimidating communities or descending into violent disorder.
These sentences for those rioting in Southampton last week send a clear message that violence on our streets will never be tolerated and you should expect to feel the full force of the law. I pay tribute to the officers who put themselves in harm’s way to protect the public.
