I won the EPT Barcelona €5k TORSE event! 😀 For €70,250 (and my 10th EPT spade 🏆) It was a really nice event, with 42 runners. And a great morale win for the festival, before next heading to Vancouver in 3 days for WCOOP! 😊

Hi @erikeidissen are you the guy for @WSOP PoY? Sorry, something is wrong with the calcs. Person details & calculator numbers sometimes differ. Are either even correct? Many (all?) in Events 1 & 46 (250K) for example. Please find out what is going on.

@Kevmath @WSOP @BennyGlaser Oh dear, I really don't want to do this. But it needs to be right. I looked some more. And found that results shown for people sometimes don't even match the @WSOP calculator. But sometimes they do. Eg Winner of #1 (>100 diff!) There are many more. Which is right - or neither?

@Kevmath @WSOP @BennyGlaser Most worrying from the PoY point of view is that for a good while they clearly had partial results for Event 56 - at least Bohlman's in, but Glaser's not. It was noticeable as the missing score was big, but who knows what smaller scores might be missing or wrongly calculated?

@Kevmath @WSOP Yeah, not a good look indeed. They have now updated almost all, but are still missing at least a result from Event 56. Do you know the formula? Clearly "they" can't be trusted, so need to make it public so the actual points scores can be checked too. A lot rides on this.

@lescarr Nice. Just for interest, was the Chat wrong in the same way as the manual, which would be pretty normal. Maybe the manual was generated from ChatGPT? 😀 Unless the fault was with operator interpretation of course! 😉

In an Air BnB with the family, I am flummoxed by the controls for the double oven. Ruby and I both take photos - she sends hers to a Google reverse image search and gets the PDF of the manual, I send mine to ChatGPT and get detailed instructions directly. Both are wrong.

@lescarr Do you still use old-fashioned search engines? Or "man" or dictionaries or even other documentation or whatever? And don't you consult ChatGPT before doing many things, so you will be warned of the snafus and "unknown unknowns" if there are any?

@lescarr I'm genuinely puzzled by this. It may mean that you think that "AI" is actually AI, and so expect to get what you expect AI to do out of it. For me, ChatGPT just does what it does, and I am very grateful, and willing to pay for it. Very rare me paying for non-OS stuff too!
