This is an unfortunate development. It could and should have been averted in the interest of South Africa and its people. @afriforum and the Solidarity Movement's efforts to find solutions suffered a major setback when @RonaldLamola , as the minister responsible for building international relations, did the reckless thing of accusing the President of the United States of promotinga white supremacist agenda. Lamola should have known that this would lead to a backlash. He did not care what the consequences would be and should be held responsible. South Africa’s strong links with Iran and other terror groups also play a major part in what we are seeing now.

I challenge @SecRubio to send a USA delegation of independent civil society inclusive of senior religious, labour, academic, student, community and media organisations, to come for a mission in South Africa to determine the veracity of Trump’s claims about there being racial discrimination of Afrikaners, inclusive of genocide. Alternatively, Senate and Congress can send a multi party (or by-partisan) delegation to do the same. In their mission: they must meet Afrikaner organisations, there are many. Afrikaner scholars, community leaders and businesses. They must visit farm communities and grave sites. They must meet SAPS, STATS SA, NPA, Media and the Judiciary. They must file a public report thereafter. This might be hard to do because in essence, for such an effort to occur, there should be prima facie evidence, in which case there is none. Because to this day, the US Trump administration has not produced a single shred of evidence to support any of their genocide claims.
