Found out a friend of mine passed away today. Me and bro played TCGs together for probably over 10 years. He put up with 18 y/o me and rocked it for so many years. From YuGiOh to One Piece he always wanted to be the King Of Games and he wanted to do it his way. Early on we'd bounce BY Ace ideas and Kyros and fun non meta stuff. Truly heart breaking losing those around you. Always a reminder to be grateful for the relationships you have, appreciate those around you. And make sure you're happy. Bc life is long. But it can be ripped away from you. Bro stayed showing love and support. RIP Lenard Aka Mister Kodak aka ResistanceTCG Imma miss you bro. Love you fam

Finally got a moment in this busy month of September to talk about this weekend. First and foremost, thank you to @VersusGamesOVDO Raf on running this event efficiently, Marc and the stream team with yet another great production and The Boss Emily and the Judge Staff with maintaining the order. I entered this tournament with my favorite deck, Kalgara and ended with a record of 6-3. My match ups were: R1: Bonney ❌️ R2: Kuzan ✅️ R3: Rayleigh ✅️ Lunch Break R4: Kuzan ❌️ R5: Rayleigh ❌️ R6: Reiju ✅️ R7: Teach ✅️ R8: Kuzan ✅️ R9: Rayleigh ✅️ Ended x-3 and did not place as high as I wanted to but I'm a firm believer in getting back what you put in so I can't complain much with this record. This is my best at a One Piece Premier Event since LA NA Finals where I ended 7-3 with Whitebeard. Was hoping I could get some of that Kissimmee Magic of many moons ago when I topped a Yugi Regional with Gladiator Beast and got my nats invite. It's okayla 😆 I'll live. I ended up taking the Top 8 Bologna list and I'll say, it was very consistent and got all the cards I needed at the right time. I feel like it's gonna be hard to tweak the list, very little flex spots but hey maybe it just works all the way through OP13 with no changes. Who knows, well see as the format develops. I had a lot of fun at the event hanging out, meeting new people and seeing friends. It was super cool to see a lot of diversity in the players. Lot of girls, kids and people of all ages playing in tournament and I think it's great that the community is more than just a bunch of dudes because I think Card Games are for everyone and I appreciate that One Piece Card Game is a super welcoming community so I hope that it continues to grow as the years ago by. I wanna congratulate all the people who topped this weekend. Whether it was Top number 20 or their very first ever. You guys rock and earned it. Congrats to my boy Brandon, been my local Since Day One and he's an absolute Grinder. Congrats to local heroes Kris, Cisco, Daniel and the @ssgaming954 boys @RealZoru and Alex Kripitz in representing Florida, Congrats to @ELV_Chalice on traveling across the world and making day 2 here. Congrats to some of my favorite Texans @FlyestRavenOPTC and @QuintOPTCG and my NY homies Kevin and Joey and lastly congrats to @ChrisSokTCG , one of the most consistent players out there, hope we can run back our sashimi date in Japan next year. Special thanks to Kalgara nation. I saw so many Kalgara players and it was nice to see that the deck is getting traction, I love it. Everyone who supported me in my Kalgara run and kept checking up on me. To my guest this past weekend that hung out with me: @Vampyrgaming, @wimmiebear, @_shekki, @hunksolo and Koty. To @talos41tv and @JOZIE2080 for giving me those life saving Kumas that helped me complete my list and lastly thanks to everyone that came up to me and said hi. Ya'll are the goats. I unfortunately don't have my invite to the North American Finals but I will try my best to make it out of the LCQ with Kalgara and make you all proud. Love you guys and see you in Dallas!
