Crews were working on the protected bike lanes in front of S.F. City Hall Friday afternoon. After Mayor London Breed in May at a Bike to Wherever Day event questioned why there were no protected bike lanes, a quick-build plan was conceived. The SFMTA board approved it last week.

@MomentumMag 3-foot wide fenced path (bi-directional!) in the exhaust filled Posey Tube between Oakland and Alameda, CA. If another cyclist comes, someone has to lift their bike over the railing to pass. Don't bump the wall either because it's black with soot.
