Heads up resellers. eBay’s new terms mean if you charge $40 shipping and the shipping label costs $35 eBay keeps the $5. No more shipping arbitrage. Adjust your pricing accordingly. Plus did you know the selling fee % also is paid on the shipping?

@ashleyschendel @ghartman02 There’s your issue right there. You don’t like to travel and can’t relax. For those that love to travel it doesn’t feel like a chore or an escape. It’s just amazing to see the world, (U.S. and other countries) try new foods, and meet amazing people, especially with kids.

I find it almost impossible to relax on vacation. I do not like traveling and when you don’t have very long, it takes up about half the time. If you go with a bunch of family, all you do is get dragged along where everybody wants to go and all I want do is rest and not talk to anyone. 😝

Vacation culture has gotten a little out of control to me. I live in southeast Tennessee, in the woods with my family and my dogs, and most of the time I do not have this huge itch to leave. We travel every now and then, but there is something really nice about actually enjoying the life you already have. People act like you’re supposed to always be planning the next trip, the next flight, the next escape. Then half the time you come home tired, behind, and wondering why you spent all that money to need a vacation from the vacation. America is huge. Especially where I live, I can drive a few hours and see mountains, rivers, small towns, lakes, back roads, and some of the prettiest places in the country. But honestly, some of my favorite days are just being home with my dogs, my family, the woods, and nowhere we have to be. That feels like rest to me.

I really don’t understand true greed. If I was worth $1 trillion, you’d have to physically stop me from solving as many of the world’s problems as possible. Everyone would have a home, food on the table, proper healthcare, happiness. I just don’t get it.

I’m curious what everyone’s goal is here on X? What are you trying to achieve? More sales, friends, monetization? I’ve only been here posting about reselling and real estate for a month or so. It’s been fun but I have no idea what my goal is with this platform yet. So far I would say the best thing has been learning from others and it’s been fun to share my successes. I tried this method and I just got a ton of questions about pricing on individual items and requests for more pics of whatever item they were interested in. I felt like it made me respond to more messages than normal, but to be fair I don’t have a building full of inventory like you do where they can come and browse.

After 2 weeks out of town I’m back reselling my Costco inventory. I’m sticking with the “one listing, everything must go theory” One FB Marketplace listing. Pictures of all the inventory. Inventory list in the description with prices. Setting up individual appointments to come shopping. Listed the ad last night. Several inquiries so far. One person came shopping today. I sold 6 items for a grand total of $130. Setting up more appointments for tomorrow. This ONE listing is killing it compared to the 35-40 listings I used to manage. Waaaaay less time consuming. This is a problem solving business and we constantly need to keep experimenting. #reseller

@huntingforflips Many years ago I sold a big television camera from the 80s, i used some old clothes for packing because it was safer than regular bubble wrap. Buyer opened the box and started calling me scammer because i sent "dirty clothes". The camera was there, still got a bad review lmao

Sold a Moen garbage disposal to this buyer. Thing probably weighs 15 lbs. or more. I double packaged it for him in a sleeping bag box to keep it safe. Buyer doesn’t even open it and just assumes I sent him a sleeping bag instead. First off you would think that the weight difference would be the first clue and second opening the box would also be very helpful! Sometimes man…😂🤦🏻‍♂️. I’m just hoping he doesn’t lie and say that he got a sleeping bag 😬.

@MindfulMikeG That is true depending on how thick it is. We just love how the laminate nowadays looks so much like real wood and it’s very scratch resistant.

@MindfulMikeG I would say they are about the same unless you are gluing down LVP instead of using click. That’s a little different, but if they are both click options, then they are very similar. We like loose lay LVP also.

@huntingforflips How much harder is laying laminate compared to LVP? looks clean! I just joined my buddy and we do flips for 4 different investors and plan to do our own shortly. We always do demo-paint-floors so we can paint more carelessly before installing floors.
