In 2022, I thought Bitcoin was a “get-rich-quick” scheme. In 2023, I went from nothing to a DeGod without a single trade. I turned my life around in 16 months. Here’s my story: I was doing freelance design work in college when the markets toppled in 2022. I saw this as my “get-rich-quick” opportunity and decided to dive in. After downloading Twitter, I couldn’t believe what I saw. Despite the market conditions, animal pictures on the internet were selling for thousands of dollars. I just had to learn more. The rabbit hole went way deeper than I anticipated. Countless hours were spent exploring each project and what they do. Before I knew it, I wasn’t just learning about animal pictures. I had become one. I saw that more than just traders called this place “home.” Artists, entrepreneurs, and thousands of talented people spent their time here turning nothing into something. I felt their passion and I wanted to be a part of it. I started with what I knew best: design. From logos to promo graphics, I designed brands that businesses could be proud of. Countless sleepless nights later, I found that success here doesn’t come easy. I failed countless times but always kept trying. Sh*t was thrown at the wall to see what stuck and, somehow, I managed to hit @SolJakey and @RyderLeeNFT. They enjoyed my work and I was given the opportunity to join @Bellstudios3 as an in-house designer. I took the job and couldn’t have been more excited to get started Over the next few months, I pushed myself to my limits and slowly developed a new sense of self. I became someone who chose growth every chance I could. Someone who doesn’t give up. Someone that I’m proud to be. It was at that moment that I realized: Web3 is where I’m meant to be. Inspired, I sacrificed the 9-5 and founded @AndromedaDesign. This leads us to today where, through hustle and hard work alone, I was able to join @DeGodsNFT. I guess the cliché is true. You come for the money and stay for the community. To everyone who supported me in 2023, thank you so much. I seriously couldn’t have done it without you.
