This is a con job. Trump says everybody wants to make a deal and we’re way past the halfway point of his presidency and no one has made a deal. Not China. Not Iran. Not North Korea. And the one deal he did do, with Mexico and Canada, he’s in the process of destroying.

Trump, leaving Ireland for France, told reporters he could do more tariffs on China goods. Said we’re getting 25% on $250 billion “and I can go up another at least $300 billion and I'll do that at the right time. But I think China wants to make a deal badly,“ and Mexico, too.

Goal of NK denuclearization w/o accounting, timetable, & verification meaningless; “complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula” code for ending US commitment to SK. Best to avoid all this and opt for limited steps by NK, limited sanctions relief, clear US/SK red lines

In fact, the Russian military has wanted out of the INF Treaty ever since Gorbachev signed it. Trump’s abrogation doesn’t penalize them at all - quite the contrary.

Roger Stone is the 6th associate of @realDonaldTrump to get indicted. Republicans and Trump like to talk about running government like a business. I simply note that any CEO of a company who has had 6 of his associates indicted would have resigned or been fired by now.
