Whenever I have clients that talk about DLP to prevent exfil and so on I ask them to do one test: Go on a random server, download the portable version of WinSCP or FileZilla, connect to an outbound SFTP or FTP server and transfer files. Neither DLP or EDR will do anything here

not quite. when the extended population generally is still looking for all sorts of gear (and actively still raiding), there's little need for a system like GDKP. it's only once things hit this stagnant farm state (which I agree, is very quick now) where I can be open to GDKP as a primary system. it boils down to this - when you don't allow GDKP, you incentivize communities (guilds) to reach certain goals where the hype the highest -- folks do not care about your week 99 KT Sword, but getting in those early weeks... that is awesome. MMOs live and die by their communities - GDKP creates an army of mercenaries that have no real loyalty to anything other than coin, and will soon leave all the same.

With the recent classic news coming out, and Aggrend stepping down @BlizzardCS @Blizzard_Ent should launch an internal inquiry regarding @AggrendWoW mishandling of this classic fresh. Banning GDKP was the catalyst behind hyper inflation that financially eviscerated the average player; Turning the latest fresh into a swipe simulator by isolating the majority of the community by engaging feedback based off Reddit, versus people who actually play. This was the least played fresh with the main reason being players unable to afford consumes due policy introduced by @AggrendWoW By banning GDKP you essentially disabled redistribution of currency, which led to flasks being 500G each, in conjunction, most raids were using flasks, black lotus, and PayPal, in place of gold, which is a fate way worse than letting players GDKP. To further exasperate this notion, @AggrendWoW took time off of social media due to controversial political comments which led to him using blue sky as his main social media apparatus. When I inquired about these behaviors, I was blocked by majority of the classic design team, then permanently banned on 20+ year old accounts, which I find incredibly suspicious. Lastly, @Shobektv @Sodapoppintv @OTKnetwork all bought gold (evidence on my Twitter) but none of these content creators are ever held for their actions because @AggrendWoW is emotionally selective of who he punishes and I feel like this is an incredibly bad look for a billionaire dollar company. This all stems from removing people’s personal freedoms due to disagreeing, and when you remove people’s right to choose, you’re no better than the people you point your finger at.
