@tradewarhj It's important to figure out what type of player you are playing against quickly and adapt your game plan. Low level mashy types demand you to take very little risks and keep every strong tight. Higher level players you need to give a little more rope to hang themselves with

canon event that everyone has while learning fighting games as an intermediate player: trying to play as risk averse as possible because you think taking risks is whats getting you killed when in reality its just that you dont take risks as good as the good players

@ZhugeEX @silence22142 As much as I've seen this happen recently, I think steam should remove Chinese reviews from the aggregate. This is not the place for this type of feedback, normalized or not.

@silence22142 Yep. But unfortunately the use of Steam reviews for feedback has been normalized in China due to the blocks mentioned above. It's basically a natural use of user reviews at this point.

The fundamental difference here, beyond different player preferences, is that Discord and Steam Community features are blocked in China, which means user reviews function as a primary feedback mechanism, rather than purely as purchase guidance as seen in Western markets.

Daigo on stream talking about Kemonomichi. He says he seriously planned on retiring if he lost to Mena. The reason being that since SF6 release he has not felt “strong” or the motivation to improve like in his youth in the arcade days. But after 3 months of training, in the final week before the match he thought, “Wait a minute. Am I strong again? This is what it felt like back in the day.” He was incredibly stressed the day before the match and couldn’t eat, and said just walking outside felt like he was already in the fight. He thought he wouldn’t be able to sleep due to stress, but surprisingly fell asleep easily - however when he woke up he had tears in his eyes. He doesn’t know why, but he thinks it’s because he had a dream where he quit Fighting Games. After he lost to Mena, he still thought it was time to retire. But in the taxi ride back to Tokyo, Eita kept bothering him and begging him not to. Daigo agreed just to shut him up, but then he thought back on that feeling of being strong in the last week and thought if he could keep that same motivation and approach he had for Kemonomichi, he could become strong again. For now he has decided to continue competing, but is taking a short rest after the set.

Thoughts from this run: - I play very slow compared to my friends - Sturdy Clamp seemed too strong - Relax + Malaise shuts down any solo fight - Piercing Wail is still a tremendous multi-enemy + multi-hit defensive card, do other characters have similar tools?

Another run I did over the weekend. A0 Silent run. Unfortunately, lost 1 HP to the boss. Tried to go for Grand Finale memes but it didn't pan out. Nonupeipe's options feel OP. Unlocked the Regent, very exciting! The Regent's mannerisms mimic what I'm like when I drink a lot✨

Cet élément est devenu le noyau du personnage d’Eren, jusqu’au moment où il avoue non pas comme quelqu’un poussé au mal par les circonstances, mais comme quelqu’un qui portait en lui le désir de nuire. Cependant, L'Attaque des Titans avait depuis longtemps cessé de m’appartenir exclusivement, et Eren était devenu un personnage aimé de nombreux lecteurs. Au final, sans aller jusqu’au bout de l’idée d’en faire une figure véritablement détestable, je me suis retrouvé à le dépeindre avec une certaine proximité, voire une forme de sympathie. Il en résulte, du moins à mes propres yeux, une impression d’inabouti, ou d’un manque de sincérité, dans la conclusion de l’histoire. »
