@HereToTail @Ben_Mathewson I used my exclusive access to buy tickets for my friends who are huge fans. They paid me back face value. The 2% of tickets that are up for resale, who cares. If someone wants to pay that price they can. It’s a choice you make whether you want to pay it or not.

@hype_heff @Ben_Mathewson You’re the one buying tickets for events that you don’t know if you can attend. That’s entirely different than getting exclusive access to tickets other than your own to flip for a profit lol. Stop pretending these are related.

I don't blame people for taking a big profit off of reselling tickets especially if they've had season tickets for awhile. But broadly it feels like a very uncontroversial opinion that there should be a cap on how much a ticket can be resold for like 10%-20% over face value.

@DeedsAndy @Ben_Mathewson That wasn’t my point… but event tickets are a luxury not a necessity. The fans who can’t afford a ticket will be partying it up in the plaza and there’s nothing wrong with that.

@NotTheJoeMarino They released a total of 600 tickets for game 1 today. The season ticket holders got the majority prior to this sale. There is a total of 450 tickets for sale on resale. Basically 2% of the entire arena is being resold. That is quite literally the definition of supply and demand

The average resale of the tiny amount of 300 level tickets for game 1 is $700, for game 2 it’s about $550 That’s like a 1000% markup dude I pray nobody gives them that money

I was interested to see if the Beer Sabre market was just inflated with people listing them for exorbitant prices... but nah, sold listings show people are actually buying these things for $175. dear god this thing is powerful.

i love my beer sabre and ill cherish it for the rest of my life. anyone attempting to sell one for $100+ is confirmed not loyal to the crest. also to anyone thinking about buying one for that price, it's a piece of plastic that likely cost less than $3 to make

2025 Honors sold out at $537.50. I grabbed a couple for $100-$150 more than that because Dutch auctions are designed to take advantage of suckers like me 😂. Gonna be a fun rip though!@CardPurchaser

@JAcostaTV Then make it affordable. This is blue collar Buffalo/Niagara Falls region where even after the industrial exodus of the 70’s and 80’s an overwhelming number of us are still blue collar workers making 30 to 60k a year. Have you seen the price of housing, food lately Rasmussen?

@thadbrown7 @TheBillsGuys I mean. Even after Cooks has a knee down. He rolls on his back. Both Hands are still on the ball. That is the definition of surviving the ground, play is dead here down by contact. What do you want a receiver to do at this point? Lay there holding the ball for 30 seconds?

@TheBillsGuys I think the disconnect here is that having a knee down and being touched does not complete the catch. The catch is not complete until the receiver has survived the ground. That can happen long after the first knee/shin/elbow hits.

Argument for Cooks catch is he’s touched with possession and knee down.
But ref Carl Cheffers said in pool report Cooks had to survive ground to keep catch.
I found nothing in rules saying being touched gets WR out of having to survive ground.
It’s clear Cooks did not do that.
