@OctopusEnergy @acailler Wait what? You signed a contract at a fixed tariff with no exit fees and they changed that mid contract without letting you know???

Incredibly poor customer service from @OctopusEnergy to put the exit fees up from £0 to £50, then to £75 all in one week for customers looking to switch tariffs. Shameful.

Hey Klaus-Peter — they’re not over! National Grid monitors the most beneficial times for these sessions and arranges them when demand on the grid is high. We’ve also recently introduced Free Electricity Sessions, where any electricity you use over your normal amount is free for a specific period when the grid is considered super green. You can read more about our Free Electricity Sessions ➡️ octopus.energy/free-electrici…🐙💚

@OctopusEnergy @g__j how come you’re no longer buffing on the demand flexibility sessions? Are saving sessions with Octopus over?

@Sadlybrokeboy Hey Matt, your Intelligent schedules already charge your car at the very greenest times of day, that's why we're incentivising sticking to those. A free charge is likely same/more £ than extra free home power.

@OctopusEnergy Not had one for over two month now when they used to have at least one every week since they started. (SG18) has something changed in the way they’re scheduled?

@hypercrypt Hey there, Power Ups are still live - they happen when there's excess green energy flowing in the grid (more here 👉 octopus.energy/power-ups/). If you’ve been taking part and you’re signed up for your area, we’ll let you know when the next session is coming up 🐙

GET PAID to use power today on Agile Octopus! 🤑 But what is Agile? Here’s an (epic) tale from our customer who stumbled across the secret gamified underbelly of energy, and never wants to come back up for air - it's like the next plot to a Stephen Spielberg film.

@adielivingitup @g__j Every suitable roof (suitability includes willingness of the owner / resident) should have solar but one 2.5MWp turbine is about the same as peak output as 695 G98 (3.6kWp) solar roofs. It’s not either or but wind has the scale that domestic installs don’t.

@g__j would it not be quicker to install solar and batteries on homes with government grants?

Onshore wind is quick to build, and cheap But because you couldn't build it here, investment's been going overseas - with the UK missing out on jobs, economic growth and cheap energy It's great to see the ban lifted and we'll work to bring cheap power to communities who want it

@The_PowerII @MartinSLewis And then there is the tax free child care and and additional 15h of childcare (which includes the 15h for two-year-olds coming in in April) where going from £99,999 to £110,000 might make you worse off than staying on £99,999 as there is no taper at all.

@MartinSLewis It’s not just the Child benefit though. One income At £40 you lose Tax Credits, £45K you cannot claim married tax allowance £50K you start losing Child benefit. Going from £50-£60K is worth less than £4K in your pocket with one child

High Income Child Benefit Charge Working on a response to Chancellor about its unfair structure penalising families with one higher earner. We're specifically short on single parent case studies. If that u, and uv issues with Child Benefit, let us know how uv been affected...
