Today was my last day at @ShopifyEng. Almost 10 years ago, I arrived at Shopify HQ in Ottawa with little more than a passion for Ruby. But above all, it taught me to say the thing no one wants to say and to trust myself. Thank you, @fw1729 for taking a chance on me, and @tobi & @harleyf for building an incredible business. 🏋️ I made a Deadlift ETF with only companies with CEOs that lift weights or do fight sports (not just cardio) It outperforms the S&P500 by 140% or 2.4x over the last 4 years! Lifting weights = $$$

Fun few days: right after a deployment, we have a ton of clients reconnecting at the same time. That was fine, but there's a lot of you now, which pushed the database over the limit. We had to pause continuous deployments for a bit to spread things out and everyone is grumpy because things take a few hours to production instead of a few mins 🤓
