Measured leadership from Justice Madlanga: taking responsibility for a brief five-minute delay and offering a direct apology reflects discipline, accountability, and deep respect for the commission and all present. In an environment where time is critical, this kind of conduct sets the standard: punctuality matters, but so does owning even small lapses. It reinforces professionalism, integrity, and the principle that leadership is shown in actions, not titles. @pule_jones

Senegal’s President Bassirou Diomaye Faye changed his profile picture with the AFCON trophy in his background. The AFCON trophy is safe in the country’s highest and most protected office. Whoever wants it must go & get it!

About 30% of the almost 9 000 Checkers Sixty60 drivers are now South Africans, but retaining locals is tough due to the country’s lack of a motorcycle culture, says Shoprite. brnw.ch/21wXnvB

🤝 A historic breakthrough! Under DA Minister John Steenhuisen, China has opened its market to SA’s apricots, peaches, nectarines, plums, and prunes, the first time multiple stone fruits from one country have been approved in a single deal. A major win for jobs and growth! 🇿🇦🇨🇳

Look at these headlines. They are not even being creative with the narrative. This is Hosh Karism. Not even a little paprika to spice it up. They just changed “evidence” to “hard proof” and submitted the homework. High schools kids wouldn’t even try this after copying the answer. This coordinated echo-reporting tells me that this scandal has the potential to bring down people high up. The claim that there is no evidence/ hard proof is false. It is also a claim that has been repeated in a pattern suggesting attempts to manufacture consent. Let me quickly illustrate with one example why there is hard proof of what Mkhwanazi has said from what he presented and what is in the public domain. We know that Vusi Matlala is implicated in the deaths of several people. As we speak he under arrest and the investigating officers presented compelling evidence like his eSwatini passport and payment records to prevent him getting bail. We know that he got a R360 million tender from SAPS to provide healthcare services through one of his companies. That information was published. We know that he was working with Hangwani Morgan Maumela from picture three which is CIPC data. See picture three. Already the SIU and Asset Forfeiture Unit have implicated Morgan Muamela in getting billions from the Gauteng Department of Health and has property portfolio of R310 Billion. All of this has been established conclusively by now. We know that Bheki Cele and Senzo Mchunu have been in communication with Vusi Matlala. Bheki Cele stayed at his Menlyn penthouse and met him at the Hangwani Maumela Zimbali Mansion. We even got evidence that Shadrack Sibiya was implicated in a corruption scandal of over R500 million and took over R3 million in bribes. The letter which was delivered to the minister in 2022 was produced at the commission. See picture four. Karyn Maughan saw that letter, published that letter on social media. Then wrote an article asking “where is the evidence?” I think I have disproved all these articles as being hocus pocus journalism. I want to end by pointing out the double standard. When the Zondo commission happened many anti Zuma people came, spoke without even producing a tissue paper of evidence. They didn’t produce a picture, a proof of payment. They were believed from the jump like they were the arch angels delivering messages to Joseph. Take the public seriously. They are not fools. We still can see how carefully the media is hiding the face and location and activities of Hangwani Morgan Maumela who has two links to the President. 🔘Link one - nephew through first marriage. 🔘Link two - proximity and close relationship with Benjani Chauke. NB. Benjani is one of the men who has worked very closely for the president on his campaigns and other delicate matters. I have never seen a media with its head in the sand since we first heard that there was a sofa stuffed with USD on the President’s farm.

We want our residents to be able to visit their deceased loved ones without fear of overgrown grass and weeds. Our teams have been busy with grass cutting at various cemeteries. This is a report back from Ga-Rankuwa and Pretoria North Cemeteries. @CityTshwane
