Unauthorized passengers without valid tickets are roaming freely and even occupying reserved seats, causing chaos and congestion. This is complete negligence.

Very much due process has been followed, AIFF is justified to do this as multiple articles of its code has been violated.
Mohun Bagan SG now has to appeal through proper channel and not limit itself to an emotional club statement.

🚨 AIFF Statement on Mohun Bagan matter The sanction stems from repeated ‘spectator misconduct’. In 2024–25, MBSG were handed a stadium closure after fireworks were launched into the away section vs Bengaluru FC, injuring fans including the club owner. The ban was suspended for 1 year on probation. During ISL 2025–26 Match 1 vs Kerala Blasters (Feb 14), multiple pyrotechnic incidents were again reported. After charge notice & hearing, the Disciplinary Committee ruled MBSG violated Article 67 within the probation period. ➡️ Suspension now automatically revoked. ➡️ MBSG vs Odisha FC (March 6, 2026) to be played behind closed doors at VYBK, Kolkata. AIFF says the club can appeal under Article 117 of the Disciplinary Code.
